I use it all the time during football season traveling to schools. Only real issue is sometimes it doesn't connect to the real time traffic feature.

Not the best for truckers
|Posted .No, I would not recommend this to a friendI’ve had this GPS for about a month now and it’s really not for truckers. On 2 occasions it routed my down a “no truck traffic” street and twice I’ve put in hazmat and it tried to send me on “no hazmat” route. It’s nice that you can download the app and sync them and put the info in your phone and send it to the GPS (as long as it’s on) and update the maps on WiFi, but the crucial parts I need don’t really work!

If you need great locations to be pinpointed, TRUCKER 620 6" GPS with Built in Bluetooth is the way to go. The Lifetime map updates and traffic updates were an added bonus. Thanks Best Buy!

- A:Answer I just spoke with a TomTom agent and was told the TomTom Trucker 620 requires a smartphone connection to get live traffic updates. No antenna option is available.

- A:Answer Although I haven’t encountered this as of yet I believe you should contact Tom-Tom directly they stated lifetime updates (maps) are free. And that what it should be!
