Bargain Gamer TV Best Value
|Posted .I got the TV for $399. I was amazed that it works well with console games. No issues. No lag noticed during high speed games. Blacks are good. Games look great. Sound is good but I use a home theater system anyways. For the price you can't beat this.

Toshiba 55 Class LED 1080p - A Steal!
Posted .This Toshiba tv is terrific for any room in the house. I watched Best Buy for a while, trying to get the tv for $349. Finally, after finding a 10% off coupon, I took the plunge at $399. Initially, I was disappointed in the picture. But after finding a review with suggested settings on the Best Buy website, and tweaking those settings further, I'm now blown away by the picture for what I paid. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. Here are the settings I am using: Picture Mode - Standard Backlight - 60 Contrast - 65 Brightness - -4 Color - 7 Tint - +1 Sharpness - +10 Colormaster - Off Color Temp - Medium Static Gamma - 0 DynaLight - Low Cinema Mode - On Edge Enhancer - On I have the treble and bass at +10. Sounds is okay. I might add a sound bar later on.

Massive TV for bargain price!
|Posted .I originally ordered a 55" non name-brand TV from a large discount retail store. The price was right, it was very basic, nothing fancy but perfect for my teenager's game room. They took my money and it never shipped. That's another whole story in itself! I was reluctant to even look at Best Buy but was pleasantly surprised by the extensive selection as well as the bargain prices. I purchased a 55" Toshiba that had not only better quality and features, but was name brand and only $10 more than the original TV! I was even more surprised when it was delivered for free and they set it up too!!! I honestly couldn't be happier with my purchase! All you need is a cable box and hdmi cable to hook it up and you're golden! I am strictly a bargain shopper and this is a BARGAIN!!! Don't hesitate!

Excellent Performance For Price
Posted .I consider myself a TV snob and bought this TV for a rarely used large second living area on Black Friday. Considering the price category, 60 hertz, and being a non-SMART TV, the picture is excellent. As many have commented on the buzzing noise, it does exist, but if set on ANY mode and turn the Backlight up to 100%, it disappears. Set your picture from there and turn off all of the Picture enhancements. Sound is decent for a Flat TV, but I assume most will not use the TV speakers. My Settings: May be too soft for many, but it provides a relatively accurate picture without digital noise and enhancements Picture mode - Dynamic Backlight - 100% Contrast 34 Brightness 10 Color "-6" Tint 10 Sharpness 0 Color master - Off Color temp - Medium Static Gama - Off Dynalight - Off Dynamic Contrast - Low Cinema Mode - On Noise Reduction - All Off Edge Enhancer - Off

Great tv!!
Posted .Great tv for the price! I can't believe I was able to get a 55" for $349. If you are like me and just wanted a big tv with regular high definition, since most things I watch don't broadcast in 4K, then this it the tv for you. I have always had problems with items that do a lot of things so I didn't even want a so called Smart TV, to me they just have too many things that can go wrong on them, and since I own both a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One I had no need of one. Both game systems look great on this tv. With 3 HDMI ports, 1 component, 1 composite, and 1 USB port this tv has way more hookups than my previous Panasonic plasma. I'm newer to LED and being a previously very satisfied plasma owner I was worried a little about the picture on this Toshiba, but my worries quickly went away when I hooked this beauty up. The hookup literally took me only 10 minutes to un box and connect my devices. Great tv and everyone that comes over cannot believe how nice it is, they keep asking me where I got it and assume I spent a fortune on it. I can't help but tell them what a great deal it was. I can't comment on how long it will last as I've only had it for 2 weeks, but since I have absolutely no cons about this tv I really don't foresee any problems. It seems just as good if not better out of box than my 42" and 50" Panasonic plasmas I have, that have lasted 6 and 4 years with no problems at all.

great TV for the Price
|Posted .I was told that this wasn't going to be the best t.v. available due to the refresh rate, but this TV is great. I am not a gamer and I think that is where it would make a big difference. I watched the Super Bowl on it and it was fantastic. If you want a good reliable tv with decent sound and good picture, this is the best bang for your buck.

Great picture and slim
|Posted .Picture is great even in a bright room with lots of windows. Setup was simple and quick. I had limited space and this fit great since it has a very small frame and is pretty thin. Have not notice issues with blur or dark colors. Use a surround system but when I tried the internal speaker it seemed to be pretty good.

Great Tv Even Better For 349.00
Posted .We purchase this tv for our upstairs, living room. We were looking at purchasing a used tv a little bit smaller for 300, but once we saw this we could not pass up the deal Picture is very nice quality for 1080, it's not a smart tv but who really needs a smart tv when you can use Xbox, Apple TV, fire stick etc. most issue with smart tv's, are they update less and less each year, and it will to a point where you have no updates at all We have not tested it on blu ray but steaming tv/ movies in 1080 picture is flawless It's not as good as our 70" sharp led 3D but that's expected Can not comment on the speakers as we are using a surround system, but the digital optical out has no issues The size was perfect for our tv stand, we wanted the biggest possible tv for our custom tv stand, and 55' was perfect as long as the bezel wasn't to thick

Q: QuestionCan someone please share the calibration settings for best picture quality? Can someone please share the calibration settings for best picture quality? I could not find it online.
Asked by RKS.
- A:Answer These are what I have used. TV is in a darkened room, so if you have yours in a bright room or one that cannot have the light controlled, you might find that the image is washed out by light. May have to adjust. But here ya go: Picture settings menu: Picture mode: Movie Backlight: 68 Contrast: 95 Brightness: 3 Color: -5 Tint: 0 Sharpness: -25 Advanced Picture Settings submenu ColorMaster: On Base Color Adjustment: [see below] Color Temperature: Warm [see below] Static Gamma: -1 Auto Brightness Sensor Settings: Off Dynalight: Low Dynamic Contrast: Off Cinema Mode: TK Noise Reduction: [both settings Off] Edge Enhancer: Off Base Color Adjustment [Hue, Saturation, Brightness respectively] Red: -9, 0, 0 Green: 0, +9, +5 Blue: 0, 0, 0 Yellow: +6, +1, +1 Magenta: +1, -2, 0 Cyan: -3, +2, -2 Color Temperature submenu: Red: -6 Green: -6 Blue: +8

Q: QuestionHow does this TV fare for console gaming? Is the Input Lag significant?Looking for a 55" TV mainly for playing PS4 and SteamLink, with some netflix on the side. Can anyone comment on the input lag for this TV compared to say a Vizio E series?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The TV has a "game mode", which disables many effects to reduce input lag. I didn't notice any input lag with this TV. If input lag is your worry, you might consider a TN panel monitor.
