This a great TV once properly calibrated. Make sure you enable the HDMI-CEC and if your video sources have HDMI-CEC you never have to switch inputs ever again. Everything is done for you. The TV powers up once you turn the video source on. Again you can only take advantage of this feature if your video sources have HDMI-CEC. I have Directv, AppleTV and Amazon FireTV attached to it and using the iPad app for the Apple TV and Amazon FireTV they will automatically turn the TV on and select the correct input. The Toshiba TV App works well too but it can't turn the TV on my itself. I've only had this TV for 2 months and so far so good. The blacks could be blacker but for a budget TV, it's quite good for what it is. I'm using an LG soundbar with it since the internal speakers as with all flat screen TV don't sound good.
