This Tablet Has It All!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.**Love, love, love it! It's my go everywhere electronic. I use it read my free Kindle and Nook books, ePubs. Keeps my kids busy on road trips. It's my Bible on Sunday (any version I want or need). I have it loaded with dozens of great and free games and apps from Amazon and Google. Nice large screen to watch Netflix/Hulu/Blockbuster movies. **IMHO, it's the best tablet on the market. Why? Nvidia Tegra 4 processor. Front AND rear cameras. harman/kardon speakers. 32 GB internal storage, AND microSD, AND Micro USB, AND Micro HDMI. **What other tablet gives you all that? None! This was actually a replacement for a Toshiba Thrive that was dropped and broken, and believe me, I shopped far and wide when looking to replace my Thrive, as is no longer made. No other tablets offer all the aforementioned bells and whistles that Toshiba does.

Fast, handy - no main problem.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did not crash or freeze after one month of intensive use (games, videos, Facebook & Google+, GPS, Bluetooth...). Great screen ! Only two things I regret : seems not connect to wifi when signal is low (cellphone does but not the tablet). And the USB port is quite too close to the alim port.

Excellent Tablet, Top 5 In My Book
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right out the box 1 feature that I really like is the ability to have multiple users, as I share this tablet with my wife, another great feature is the included pen-style stylus, compared to the Galaxy Note 10.1 stylus, it feels much more like actually writing with a real pen. Another plus in my book is the included Harmon Kardon speakers and the Toshiba audio enhancement, this is probably the best and fullest sound I have heard from a tablet to date. As far as processing and graphics go I have yet to find a app or game that causes the tablet to lag or stutter. The only two minor complaints I have so far, and these really can't qualify as complaints, 1. the lack of apps on the market (as of now) for the stylus included. 2. the screen orientation rotate is a little sensitive, especially when using in a seated position with tablet resting on your lap. Overall this tablet gets 5 out of 5 from me.

Seems like it could be good if it worked
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been waiting for this tablet for a long time and ordered it the first day it was available. It was immediately back ordered but Best Buy got it in within a few days and shipped it out. After waiting for a week to travel across the country I finally got my hands on this hot little tablet. I took it home and went to work on setting up my tablet. Right off I could tell something was wrong because I was trying to load my Google profile and it kept timing out on me. I skipped past that and figured I would add it manually later. Once I got into the device booted up I reconnected to Wifi and then loaded my profile. I hit the play store next to start loading my software. The wi-fi kept dropping after 30 seconds to two minutes. I restarted the device to make sure there wasn't a glitch. Same problem on reboot. I tweaked all the settings in the settings and didn't have any luck. I did a hard reformat and set it all up again. Same thing. I bought a new router. Same issue........ I put in my sd card to watch some movies I had on it and the tablet wouldn't read my sd card. I pulled the one from my phone and had the same issue........ ARRRGH. I hooked it up to my computer and figured that I would transfer some files over the USB connection. My computer wouldn't recognize it and there are no drivers available from Toshiba. Same issue on my laptops. I have played with the stylus and really like it. It is responsive and I like the size (I have big hands). The screen is sharp and crisp with excellent detail but the colors aren't as vibrant as I would have liked. i did finally get a couple of games to load with extreme patience and once the booted up the performance was great. The Tegra 4 is a nice chip! The sound is fantastic with headphones (I am very impressed) but a bit soft with the speakers (my Note II is noticeably louder). I cant comment on video playback as I cant find a way to get any video on the device. Reading magazines and comics is nice and the text is crisp. The camera quality was decent in still shots but the video quality was not good and in low light environments is was flat out awful! I dont really need it for that so not a big loss for me. Battery life is in line with what most tablets provide and the bundled software is nothing to write home about. Build quality is meh. Not to great but not bad. I recommend a case for any tablet so build quality doesn't matter as much after the case goes on.Quick note, the s-pen from my Note II works with this tablet as well as the included pen but not the other way around. I am going to try and swap it out for a new one and see if the issues with the Wifi, SD card and USB transfer are just a bad unit. I really want to fall in love with this tablet. I will update this review after I get a replacement. I had a terrible experience with the Asus Transformer (beautiful display, terrible tablet) so I was hoping this would be a better experience. I hope this is helpful to others looking for a tablet. I love Best Buy and frequent the store in the Winchester Va area and they have treated me very well. I love the store and the staff! Van in particular has gone out of her way to help me a number of times!!!

This tablet died after 1-1.5 years; locked up.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had some nice accessories; micro-SD and so on. A bit heavy. But it worked for me reading e-books and accessing the web when in range of a wifi. But it just died; locked up and would not allow access.

Q: QuestionWill the card from my camera be compatible with the micro SD slot? Will the micro SD slot be compatible with the SDXD card used by my camera?
Asked by Ginnie.
- A:Answer The tablet supports Micro SD only. You can get a micro SD card and an adapter that makes it look like an SD card and then use that in most SD card capable cameras. The tablet also has a Micro USB port and if your camera support USB, you can connect to the tablet that way.

Q: QuestionWill the excite pro sync up with your apps loaded on your smartphone and visa versa? Will the apps on my Samsung S4 sync with the Tosiba Excite Pro?
Asked by TexasTJ.
- A:Answer If you're asking whether or not apps you use on your S4 will run on the Excite Pro, the answer is... usually. Some apps from the Play store are programmed and formatted specifically for phones and will either look odd on a large screen device or in some cases, will not run at all. The reverse is also true. Also, apps that are created and bundled for a specific device (such as the Samsung apps on your S4) will often run only on that device. If you're asking whether or not information (mp3, video, documents, etc.) can be shared between the two devices, the answer is yes--though in some cases, files specific to an app will need that app installed on both devices.
