Toshiba - Satellite 17.3" Laptop - 4GB Memory - 500GB Hard Drive - Matrix Graphite

Great value for the price. I have been using this machine for the last few days and I am very happy with it. Ample computing power for my needs. Applications and videos power up quickly and efficiently. Ample storage space for my needs. I have been using this machine for both home and office and it meets my expectations. This computer is light and portable. Also, this is my second Toshiba laptop and it is better than the last one. This one stays cool and does not heat up like my first Toshiba. All in all, I am satisfied with this computer.

Great laptop, bought it for my girlfriend, she uses it for basically everything, its decently fast. At times it will freeze, but we just do ctrl-Alt-del and it starts working again. It gives you an option to have it in ECO mode and with that it should last you at least 2 hrs, but without it, it last even less. It's a great laptop for home, but I would not suggest it for school or work, unless you can have it plugged in at all times. It performs well, but any laptop that is 17 inches is not going to last very long (something that even the sales person told us at the store). But overall great laptop, we can work on itunes, watch netflix and be on facebook and it will not lag. The touch pad does get in the way cuz its more to the left, we simply shut it off and plug in a mouse. And its actually light for it being a 17inch laptop, I had a 14inch HP laptop and it was just as heavy.

I love this laptop! We have had it for six months and never had a problem with it! It has been dropped of four couch by our kids more than once and it didnt do a thing! :) The screen is great! We also watch movies on it and that is great as well!! Truthfully I cant believe some reviews are bad when we love this so much!

I shopped around, checking prices and processor speed, memory and what it could be upgraded to, etc. This was the best deal for the price, had faster processor than other brands at a more expensive price, and it even burns DVDs. I was so shocked when I put a DVD in to see how clear the picture is, it is much better than I expected! I think it is capable of running blue-ray but I have not figured out how. I recommend upgrading the memory on it if you want to play games, watch videos, or you like to open 30 tabs at a time. I am so happy with this laptop I am glad I made the investment!

Bought this to replace an ASUS laptop that I dropped one to many times. Display is awesome, speakers are , at least they point towards person. The ones on my Asus were on lower front of laptop. Wireless card is good as well, doesn't lose any signal strength on other side of house. Office 2010 starter was a good move on their end and nice battery life since it is 6-cell. The speed is only 1.9 with a dual core so not as fast as many others but gets the job done. Touchpad is only drawback even after adjusting settings. Advise to buy a mouse.

Decent screen lighting, good sound, starts up fast,and it has 5 hours of charge. Good portability and connectivity ability. Browsing is fast and it doesn't slow down with multiple window open. Overall It is good for anyone doing business, projects, or anything,

This laptop is perfect for everyday use. Bought it for my wife so that she could watch movies, surf the net, and download music. so far its working great. I have a degree in IT, and would recommend this computer to everyone. Great computer for the price.

I can't believe that I'm reviewing the same computer as others that have had issues, I can only say that this computer is meeting/exceeding my expectations, sound quality is above average for a laptop and when using the equalizer can be tweeked very well. Everything seems to work fine, I really think it's a great value when compared to other more expensive laptops.
