..I don't need the newest. This works wonderfully for my daughter. It's her first phone and she's actually teaching me how to better use my iPhone 6. Most people are ditching their iPhone 6 for the newest (8 and X). I can't see spending that much money on a phone. We'll replace our 6 in a year or so when the 7 is affordable on prepaid. Overall this phone works well with all tasks that we use it for. The battery lasts quite a while and it feels great in the hand. It is a bit slippery so a case is necessary. I would prefer a 5 inch screen. The one thing I don't like is more about iOS than the 6. When using navigation on Car Play, I am forced to using the Apple Maps instead of Google Maps. I try not to use much data and Apple Maps requires data when navigating. I much prefer Google Maps since I can download certain areas and use them offline. I need to carry an Android phone in the car just for use with Android Auto and Google Maps for navigating.

CAME WITHOUT A SIM CARD! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

I purchased this phone and it came without a SIM card. I purchased a BYOD SIM card somewhere else assuming that it would work to activate the phone because of Best Buy's mistake. It has been 18 hours since I tried having my number ported over to Total Wireless and my previous carrier phone is not inactive. I called earlier to find out that the SIM card I purchased separately cannot be activated with this Total Wireless phone that failed to come with a SIM card in the box. Why is this the case? According to a representative on the phone, I would be without cell service until Tuesday or Wednesday, which is absolutely unacceptable. If I had known all of this would've transpired, I would've never left my original carrier. ON TOP OF THAT: I originally ordered this online Tuesday to arrive Thursday (yesterday). My order wasn't updated until Thursday to have it be delayed. Apparently, it's been backordered everywhere and Best Buys around me have their inventory screwed up so I can't get this resolved. This is the last time I purchase anything from Best Buy. You lost a loyal customer of many years. Don't follow this listing guys, just do it straight through the carrier.

      Excellent price, but very glitchy

I saw the price online and was lured into buying, unfortunately, the device kept asking to activate, even though it was already activated. Funny part is that i took the sim card out and installed a tmobile one, and that one worked fine. so i guess its unlocked for gsm (cant verify for att) but struggles with cdma like total wireless which uses verizons network. i did notice an a lot of stuttering while navigating so it could be a bad unit, but reading one of the other reviews, im not the only one who encountered issues with the phone. i will return this device and just get the moto g5.

Very pleased with this exceptional value. A significant bang for the buck. The iPhone 6 is everything we need and the Total Wireless network coverage is good for us. Online setup and plan selection is mostly seemless, though adding a second phone to our account didn’t seem intuitively obvious. Hit the ‘activate/reactivate’ option then selected ‘use a credit/debit card’ to choose the plan for the second phone. I believe the ‘add another device’ option is for multiple phone plans. Our situation was better served by having two individual unlimited talk and text only add then buying the 5GB for $10 that doesn’t expire every 30 days.

      Excellent overall smart phone value

This is my first smartphone purchase, was using LG flip with Straight Talk for 8 years. I actually like Total Wireless, sister company. Pros: Great overall, I am glad I went with this 4.7" vs SE 4" screen, my eyes are not the best. Cons: I wish the battery life was better, but I don't have a data plan on TW, and I shut off all background apps, wifi and bluetooth when not in use, so I can get a full week with two full charge cycles, I would go with this iphone, it is a great value and in some cases less expensive than Andriod cross over smart phones.

This may not be the newest or greatest, but I can tell you that this is a fantastic phone. Have been thru a lot of android phones with various glitches, and I came back to Apple and this iPhone because the value just can't be beat. Apple continues to update this iPhone, and it is a very reliable phone that can be counted on for working the way a phone should work. Everything just works!

I upgraded from iPhone 5s for a bigger screen, and so glad I did. The screen is brighter. I am not a gamer so don't need the latest phone, and this operates so smoothly for normal operations, including as web browsing. It was so easy to upgrade and active my phone on Total Wireless. I would recommend buying this phone if you are on a budget and don't need the latest chip.

It is taking a while for my wife and I to learn the capabilities of this our first smart phone. Was surprised that the audio on some calls has been less than excellent and that the connection can fade somewhat on a few calls during the call. Hopefully, these problems will be solved as we get used to using the phone as Verizon should be an excellent network.
