Used to buy the $700 Samsung models, but I have dropped them face down on gravel, shattering the screen and even though a shop repaired it for $200, it was never the same. Next, I bought a lower priced prepaid phone, but it didn't have enough memory to operate many apps and wouldn't take a big enough SD card to STILL give me enough to operate all the apps, and it was very slow with what it could run. This one has SD card expandability up to over 200 GB, although an additional 64 gb card works quite nicely. The phone is fast like my Galaxy S5 was and apps don't just quit like they did with the lower priced prepaid phone. Make sure you get a phone which will take a big enough SD card to expand its memory or you will be unhappy!

This phone despite it's low price, is actually a good quality phone. The display is nice, clear, and colorful. Better than the LG models by far. The sound from the speaker is quite loud which makes it easier to hear your phone ring, which is also quite an upgrade from the LG comparable phones. The camera takes very nice pictures. Runs on Android quite well and you can add an external micro SD card. The only thing that is flimsy is the battery cover, but it does stay on. Put a decent case on it and that one little complaint of mine is solved! I own an iPhone 6 Plus 64GB and paid $949 for it when it was new. This Samsung phone I bought for my mom to replace her terrible LG phone. It's regular price is $80 but we got it for $50 on sale. Even at $80, it is well worth that. I think in my opinion that it does everything about as good as my iPhone does! If you like the Android Operating System then this phone is the best bang for the buck!
