Recently I tested out the ToughTested Solar20 20,000 mAh portable charger and I could not be more pleased– it's sleek, yet durable rubber frame allows me to throw it into my bag and go anywhere with it, which is perfect for going from class to class. Further, it can hold up to 20,000 mAh of charge, which is enough to power all of my devices for several hours if I studying somewhere without outlets or commuting across Boston to my job. However, my favorite feature of all is its solar charging capability, a feature that allows me to capture power wherever I go in a sustainable, dependable way– perfect for studying outside when the weather is nice! Pretty good for use as a power bank refill station - took camping where no power available, worked ok as I said as a refill station for multiple various cell phones, rechargeable headlamps etc - as far as the solar goes which is what I mainly bought if for - I wouldn’t rate it very high only maybe 2 stars - had it out in full sun - that full full summer sun all day and it only would get to 50% charged even tho I had it in the sun a full 7 hrs - so I put it back out all day next day in full sun and didn’t use it to charge anything - after another full 7 hrs in sun it still only registered 50% charged - so for 100$ I was pretty disappointed with lackluster solar recharging. Honestly thought about returning …
