OVerall it is working as desired. I like that it has a smart plug built-in. My real complaint is that it does not leave adequate access to the other plug in the wall.

I already have a couple wifi extenders but this 1 is unique because it works with my TP-Link smart bulb that's on my hallway lamp (see pic 01). It's also geared to link to Amazon Alexa and Echo but I don't have either to test this with. It's pretty much a plug and use extender, once I connected it to my wifi router and smartphone (pic 02). I didn't need to pull up the extender's arched antenna since I plugged this just across the room where my wifi router is.

The TP-Link works fairly well. However, the design is such that the 2nd plug is covered up. Sure, it has a plug which controls whatever is plugged in to it. You control the plug through a free app. But it still covers up the other outlet, so you are left with 1 anyway. The plug is best used for a lamp so you can control when it comes on and when it goes off.
