I've had it for about a week, upgrading from a Tracfone flip phone. I'm so glad I bought it from BB instead of Tracfone. I've had a couple of questions and issues on operation and the BB support folks on site were very helplful. I'd rather drive to BB than call Tracfone with questions. The phone itself does what I imagined a smarphone should do. It's my first, so have no source of comparison to other models/brands. I'm learning. Tracfone and their "help" line are confusing, but here's how the transition from a dumb phone works. The call minutes and phone number transfer pretty easily, but YOU WILL NOT GET ANY TEXTS OR MB at startup. YOU CAN'T CONVERT MINUTES to texts or MB. Those don't come with the phone, and MUST BE BOUGHT separately. Oh, and "Texts" means those sent or received when counting. It took me 4 tries with Tracfone reps to straighten all that out, in spite of a Tracfone website implying different transition rules.

This is a terrific phone for almost anyone. 10gigs out of 16 of space free, and up to 256gig SD support. However you can't format it for installing apps on it, just as storage for things like media files. I don't even use an SDcard and it's fast, the screen is awesome, and battery life is excellent with the 2600ma battery. It has stuff like 2.4 and 5ghz Wifi, and the Samsung apps that come with it are worth the price of the phone like the built in call blocker, security folder so you don't have to encrypt the whole phone, they just thought of everything. With the extreme power saving mode enabled you can leave this on for 4 days straight on a single charge. I added a wireless charge pad and thin soft gel case back to hold it and it's my dream phone. With a Tracphone annual plan you can laugh at how much your friends are spending on theirs.

I finally broke down and bought myself a smartphone. After many months of reading reviews, I decided on Luna pro. Well worth the wait. It has a bit of a learning curve but I love it. I can do so much with it. I downloaded MS word from the google play store so I can jot ideas down. The qwerty keyboard is a bit small but is bigger than the IPod I use at work . There are a couple of draw backs but that is on the Tracfone side. You can't see you minutes , etc. You have to buy a separate card for Data/ Texting and phone. You can buy them all in one but it has a time limit. They start out at $5 for texting to $150 for a years worth of minutes etc. But I think it is better than getting whacked with a monthly charge . My cousin bought the same phone but with the Straight talk (Also Tracfone) With that plan you have to buy a card every month or lose it. If you are not looking for over the top IPhone phone , this is a good phone to have in my Opinion

My wife has been using a Tracfone for about six years. We bought this Samsung because her old one couldn't get any service in Bowling Green, KY (city where Chevrolet makes the Corvette). This new phone doesn't work there either. We make it there about once a month mostly to do some shopping (at Best Buy, of course). The phone works fine everywhere else that we've been. I contacted Tracfone and basically got a shoulder shrug - admitted that their coverage sucks in some areas. Just what it is. Would give the phone five stars, but Tracfone only one, so compromised at three. All in all, I top off the phone once a year and the wife has a phone that (mostly) suits her needs for about $7/month. I offered to get her an iPhone instead but she wasn't interested. She doesn't use it that much.

I've had many Smart Android Phones over the last 5 years and this Samsung blows them all away!! From it's incredible sleek design, to it's vivid screen, to it's massive storage space, it's just perfect for anything you may want or need to do with a Smart Phone. I've been able to download a ton more apps than my last Motorola phone and I've only used 4GB out of 16GB!!! It's endless!! I love this phone and you won't regret buying one!! Best regards Best Buyers! - JM418

This is my first smartphone by Samsung. I was using Windows phones before this. This phone is fast, has a nice screen, a pretty good rear facing 5MP camera and excellent battery life. The battery is removable. The phone comes with 16GB of internal memory and I've found this for my own lite use to be more than enough. I actually also bought an iPhone se around the same time and I returned the iPhone and kept the Samsung Galaxy Luna Pro since I found the screen and navigation on the iPhone not to my liking. Tracfone service is excellent as well.

Since Tracfone came out with smartphones each one that I have purchased has been a significant upgrade from the previous one, but not so with this one. I upgraded from a LG Treasure to get 16g internal memory, but unfortunately, the LG was a much better phone in every aspect except internal memory. In the first three months, the phone has intermittently stopped receiving calls and accepting voice mail. (removing/reinserting the SIM card seems to fix it). Recently, after an update, it no longer recognizes apps that I transferred to the SD card to conserve space. I am mostly disappointed in the phone's performance.

This is a nice mid-grade phone with several outstanding features. The camera isn't the best, but is fine for selfies etc. It runs android 6.0 with a solid processor and display for the money. This is an especially good phone for kid's emergency phone or other low use scenarios, as the plans include long period activations with limited resources at a bargain price. Cheapest I've seen in fact. Also, it's worth noting that this model comes with a removable battery with replacements about $8.00 on ebay. I consider that to be enormously useful but perhaps I'm in the minority. Well worth the price for a kid or parent phone for occasional use.
