With Tracfone updating its network, I needed to upgrade my phone (yay). I'm not very tech-savvy when it comes to phones as I really don't need a computer in my pocket. What I do need is just something that will make and receive phone calls and texts and have voicemail as I mainly use mobile phones in event(s) of emergency. I don't particularly care for nor use all the extra added frills. This phone is a lot bigger than the old LG I have. There are a ton of different options which is a great thing to have; however, there are a ton of different options in which to review and potentially modify, which can be annoying. With that said, I particularly like having the option to do so compared to...say, Windows10 wherein Microsoft seems to think they know better than the user what they want on their PC. So, point scored for having the option to modify options. Calls sound pretty good even if connectivity can be a little wonky (I'm sure that'll even out once Tracfone's 4G upgrade is done). Texts go through easily and have a lot of different options for those that enjoy that. Emojis, group chat, etc. Also options to help with those of us who have differing abilities like text size, talk-to-text, color variation, etc. This thing will also play some music and video files, e-mails, websurfing, streaming, and other activities that are probably either "standard" or "outdated" on newer phones. Setup through Tracfone's online system was pretty easy but did have to use Chrome as Tracfone didn't play nice with Firefox; though, in all honesty, that's probably a PC setting of mine. Oh, it has a stylus that you can doodle with if you want. For some reason, the stylus doesn't seem to work on FedEx or UPS handhelds for signatures, which I find odd but what can you do? I haven't used the camera or video and the directions say you can selfie yourself if you want/if that's your thing. I gave the camera 3 stars, which may be a little unfair as it may perform higher than 3. I just don't have any plans to use it so can't say whether it's a 3, 4, or 5. Battery life is pretty good, especially when you stop running all the background crap. I usually leave the brightness at 0 and use airplane mode a lot. There's also three battery/power options to choose from. Mine's still on it's initial 100% charge and, currently, is down to 10%. Nice! Pretty pleased with this phone and its price even though it's fancier than what I really need. I'd say the biggest downsides (or personal annoyances, your choice) are: *MicroSD card is a pain--there's a little pop-out drawer which is just a flimsy plastic bed where the SIM sits. You sort of have to seat them in place, which can be a little tricky (for me at least). I recommend doing so over a light-colored surface in case you accidentally pop out the SIM and have to hunt for it). *Stylus can be a little hard to edge out unless you have longer fingernail(s). Leatherman to the rescue. ;) *Size is pretty large but not a fault of the phone--just something to consider depending on how you want to carry it. *I don't care for the Overview Button. The phone may have an option to assign a different function to this button, however. I'd recommend, especially if you're looking for a budget/introductory smartphone. I don't know what the difference is for all the bells and whistles compared to the iFone900 or whatever but I'm impressed with it.

I have tried 4 phones(in the last 3 years) before I bought this one. (Two of them quit working and one I could not understand, so I gave that last one away.) This is the 4th phone. I just wanted a phone to get and receive calls and take nice pictures. This is a good one. I am still figuring out the other features, but I don't want a lot of extras for what I need. The price is reasonable and I like it.
