I only purchased this to go along with Earthrise Scorponok. It turned out to be really neat on its own though. This is a partsformer that uses several 5mm pegs and 5mm ports which means there are several fan modes for it since you can daisy chain similar toys and weapons/accessories together similar to a LEGO set. The official spear mode isn't as solid as it should be and that's a huge issue since that is one of the largest selling points for the toy.

Awesome transformer and awesome design. Modulators are a lot of fun to take apart and have all of the different pieces attach to different bots. Highly recommend.
