Still a good show
||Posted .I still thoroughly enjoyed this season, but it did hurt coming off such a fantastic first season. This season is much moodier than the first with an ending that won't appeal to everyone seeking a "neat, happy" ending. The whole theme (and slogan) of this season is "we get the world we deserve", and I can see why people see that they didn't get the season they deserved, but it's still an interesting ride.

The sum is better than its parts
||Posted .True Detective: The Complete Second Season isn't bad but it had a lot to prove from its highly acclaimed first season. True Detective is a brilliant anthology series overall but season two some how missed the mark on abstaining its allure and notoriety. The plot was muddled and there were two many characters to be able to keep up with. If it weren't for Rachel McAdam's character I believe the show would've lost its footing. There are some excellent scenes through the series and the editing was absolutely on point. In the end, even if you take away the over dramatics of the characters interpersonal relationships and tweak the storyline you still come out with a great second season!

Always leave them wondering.....
||Posted .The first season was done by Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson and this is the second season that has Vince Vaughn, Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, and others. The story is good, but not as strong as the first season. It had its ups and downs story wise, but the cast helps save it with pretty good acting. Definitely worth a watch to see what everyone is talking about.

Not as good as Season 1
||Posted .By the end of the season, I wasn't as disappointed with it. But the story wasn't on the same level as the one told in Season 1. It got hated on much more than it deserved. I think Nic Pizzolatto just didn't have enough time to write and polish the story he wanted to tell. The performances are all top notch, whether or not you like the characters.

Good for a Drama
||Posted .I saw a scene from True Detective on Youtube that was a shoot out. I thought that was a representation of what the story would be like. I was wrong more drama then any thing else. I am more of an action person then drama. It was good though. It's 8 episodes about 1 hour each.

Good price
||Posted .The movie was great. The price was better. I like how you rearranged the store. Signeg is very well placed. The only thing I would change is having more people at the registers. Sometimes I have to wait to long because there is usually only one register open. Time is precious these days.

Not the same as 1st series, still good
||Posted .This second season plays out more like a standard cop film compared to the 1st. Still, it does entertain. Also has the best shootout scene since Heat, look for that.

Underrated
||Posted .A better season overall than consensus would suggest. Not as impactful as the first season, and a the dialogue is a little hammy at times, but a good watch.
