Very small ear cups...
Posted .I'd consider myself having a large head, with a little over average ears, but these cups are small. I thought it was a joke when I opened the box as they look like they are made for small children! The sound is great and the options are nice, but they are very cheap parts as well. They spent their whole budget on speakers, then tossed together some plastic so it holds together. Turtlebeach has dropped in nice quality products for Xbox One. Not the best pic best of my dx12's next to xo one...

My son loves it. It works even with galaxy tablet
||Posted .Hi, Sound quality is great , you don't need any extra cables to put on the back of your console , will work straight form control with little plug adaptor that snug to the controller. Also you can plug the mini plug to a tablet or a cell phone and even use the mic.

Worth the money
||Posted .I bought this Turtle Beach headset for my son, who told me that they were the best. Well, after getting them and trying them out, I bought another set because they are pretty amazing. Well worth the money!

Works great but drains controller batteries
||Posted .I was waiting for the right deal when upgrading from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One and finally found it when Best Buy was offering this headset for free with the purchase of the Xbox One Master Chief Collection. I always knew I was eventually going to get a headset like this upon upgrading systems so this was the perfect opportunity for me to upgrade. I have an older Turtle Beach headset I had used with my 360 for years so I knew this would be a good choice in terms of headsets for the Xbox One. As expected due to the simple difference in age between this headset and my old one, this headset is far superior in terms of functionality. It is listed as a "Wired" headset but it should be noted that the only wire you have to worry about is the wire that runs from the headset to your controller. My old Turtle Beach wired headset for my 360 also had to be plugged into one of the USB ports on the 360 itself whereas that is no longer needed for the Ear Force XO ONE. The only drawback of this feature is that this new headset draws its power directly from your controller which tends to really drain the batteries much faster than simply using the controller without the headset. I haven't invested in a play and charge kit or any of the rechargeable batteries available for the Xbox One controllers yet so this is all based on the use of standard AA batteries. Aside from the battery issue, this really is a great headset. The sound quality is fantastic and the additional features are great. This type of headset is great for times when you are playing later at night when others are likely sleeping because it allows you to turn the volume all the way down on your TV since you get all of the sound directly through the headset. Overall, this is a great headset that I was able to get as part of a really good deal. Just beware of the fact that your controller's batteries will not last nearly as long as they otherwise would without the use of this headset. I suggest using the headset sparingly by using it mainly during the times when it would be most beneficial such as late at night.

Excellent Sound and Features.
Posted .First of all I'd like to say that I've owned 4 pairs of Turtle Beach Gaming headphones over the past few years, ranging from super cheap (sub $60) to really nice (over $150). These are hands down my favorite! The sound quality is the best I've had by far. The stereo sound is perfect for first person shooters like Call of Duty/Titanfall/Battlefield etc.. It enables you to hear footsteps in the direction of the other players very clearly, which in turn allows you to get a jump on them. The included Ear Force XO audio controller is awesome! It allows you to independently adjust the game volume and chat volume to get the perfect mix. It also has a bass boost feature to get booming bass which is great for explosions, heavy bass music, better voice depth, etc. My favorite feature is that the controller is almost wireless. There is only one cable on the whole headset and it plugs into the controller. This means no more USB and other audio cable plugs that you must connect directly to the gaming console. It has a detachable mic which provides quality voice chat. The construction of the headset is decent. (not the best, but not bad by any means). The ear cushions are very breathable and sit comfortably around the ear. (one of the better cushions from Turtle Beach I've experienced). The price point is excellent for what you get. The only thing I can really find negative about these headphones is that the ear cups are quite small. If you have a larger head and/or ears, this headset might be a bit small for your comfort. Overall I feel these headphones are a great but for any Xbox One gamer who is trying to save a bit of money and still have a great sounding, multipurpose headset full of features and the freedom from a mess of cables.

Very Comfortable, better than expected
||Posted .I have a set of the Turtlebeach PX21's they are outstanding, needed a set for the XBOX ONE. Turtle beach makes it almost impossible to buy their DSS adapter for the Old PX21's to work on the new systems, so i jumped down the path and bought these. as even an entry level headphones set, they are outstanding. they are wired to the controller just like the microsoft branded ones, stereo sound, but these have a built in mixer on the controller adapter with bass boost, something the microsoft ones do not have. well worth it for $20 over the microsoft branded price. The Turtlebeach XO ONE's just droped by $18, so if you need a pair, get these. the microphone does unplug if you just want the sound and no chat.

Q: Questionplug-in specification/clarificationSo if anyone is familiar with the Xbox 360 earforce x12 you will know that you must plug in 1 USB to any outlet to power the headset, you must plug in an audio receiver (audio jack) to an audio transmitter (audio out) and then finally a cord into you controller to talk on the MIC. What are the necessary plugins required to make this headset work to its fullest? Thank you and sorry if I was unclear about anything.
Asked by K-Man.
- A:Answer You only have to plug the headset into the wireless controller to get game audio and voice chat.

Q: QuestionAround or on the ears?I keep reading different reviews some saying they will cover your ears and others say it sits on the ears. Guessing it depends on the size of your ears? I'm just trying to find out what the majority say. Thank you
Asked by Map219.
- A:Answer I am a normal eared human and they fit over my ears perfectly. Although, I can see how those humans with ears larger than mine might find the earphones not fitting well.

- A:Answer I've never had anyone on the other side of the mic say my voice was overly loud. Works fine for me

Q: QuestionIs there a one-click mute function?I'd like to know if there's an easy mute button on the headset?
Asked by spark2.
- A:Answer On the (included) Audio Adapter that connects to the controller, there is a Microphone mute button. If are looking to mute the earphones, I have not seen any way to do that (aside from unplugging it from the controller)
