It's an AP. It broadcasts WiFi. It works. I didn't use the ubiquit setup (mesh) I just use this as an AP for my existing wifi/network and it works fine. Setup was surprisingly easy and it performs admirably. The packaging is quite fancy too lol. Not the cheapest option, but it works, and I feel like I got what I paid for. I will strongly consider buying more of these in the future to expand my network.

Needed wifi at my barn which is about 400' from the house. Unboxed the unit and had it up and running in about 10 minutes. Put the AP in a window and tested signal at the barn. Had about 50% signal and it was less than ideal conditions. Perfect for what I need.
