Happy and excited to see this scooter on sale for 44% less. The torque is great on a single motor with 350 Watts, plus strong build and sleek design. 4 stars, because no suspension, you can really feel the rough roads and bumps with its solid tires, but they are hassle free on maintenance. Also, range is giving me 9-10 miles only on full throttle (15 mph) on a single charge. When the battery indicator hit 1 bar, it slows down to 6-8 mph and when the indicator turns red, it warns and constantly beeping. So annoying! After 10 days of use, got a communication error, giving me 6,702 total mileage, when in fact 100 miles of use only. Weird! Glad that Best Buy sent me a new scooter. Great CS for both Best Buy and Unagi! Hopefully, this new one won't give me the same defect. Portability is great with its one step folding mechanism, easy to carry. But the bottom part of the bar that folds rattles on bumpy road. Would be better if the deck has darker shade to avoid marks from shoes. Front and rear lights are okay. The handlebar has odd shape and too narrow that you cannot put accessories like phone holder and rear view mirror. But the ride is smooth and motor is quiet. Good enough for a discounted price.

Pros: -15mph in seconds -elegant design -good hand break and manual break -bright night light -light weight -foldable Cons: -can’t go up a 10 degree slope -battery drains fast -handle bar grips slides off everytime -no suspension or shock absorbers or whatsoever, plus the solid tires. you can feel every little rubble on the road -paint scratches off easily -foot grip is rubber and it gets dirty really quick (unpleasant look) -horn is not loud and nobody can hear it (I’m 240lbs) I’ve been using the scooter for almost two weeks to go to work (8 mins travel time on flat road), the back wheel started to have a little wiggle and noise, after the total of 19miles travel distance the back wheel motor stopped working. Not worth the money if you’re going for the design

Well I've had this PEV Scooter for a couple of months now so let's talk Unagi! Range: this is the most controversial part of this electric scooter but to me, I don't see it as an issue! At mode 3 doing 15 miles and stopping and braking a decent amount it then died exactly at that, right at the Estimated manufacturer's range number. Speed, this has a 350W motor on the rear wheel getting 750W peak. It's quick for the price, 15.5 MPH is a nice feature but have noticed it's software limited. When I accelerate to 16 MPH it auto brakes down to 15 MPH, just wished it wasn't software limited. It's like the scooter has headroom and I bet it does but it's probably software limited for range purposes. Ride quality: this is where this scooter lacks the most, any type of suspension. To me this the main reason why I docked a star off, at the MSRP when it is not on sale for $789.99 it should get a suspension standard! But you don't get it at all here. Even on VERY good roads in my city, you can feel the road entirely. According to Unagi they say the airless tires are supposed to help and act like shocks, they don't at all! However I will admit having airless tires is nice so no maintenance is needed for them! Materials/Portability: This is where this scooter SHINES! The quality of this scooter is amazing, the main reason why critics call it "The Tesla of Electric Scooters." And I couldn't agree more. The carbon fiber stem is amazing, very light and easy to turn, the silicon where your feet are is easy to clean even after loads of miles, looks brand new after being cleaned as you can see in pictures put in the review. The Practicality is even better for me personally, 26 pounds this scooter weighs, with the simple folding system you've probably seen in reviews + the carbon fiber stem makes it so light and easy to carry around! Extras: The Headlight in this scooter is very bright, nice + if doing those night trails and the brake light is also good to see at night, very helpful, just no turn signals sadly. The last extra is the sides as you can see in pictures gets scratched very easily, less than a week in those happened. Final thoughts: What is this scooter meant for? This is a commuter scooter and nothing more, it looks great moving around town, okay range for the simple going to work and charge there and get back with ease and in style, don't let those airless tires fool you of thinking this is good anywhere else besides paved roads because trust me, they aren't. Unagi Model One E350 is a sleek, lightweight fun to ride e-scooter. It has good range of up to about 14 - 15 miles riding on eco mode for a 160 lb human. I ride it to work n back for a week on one charge. It accelerates pretty quickly. The E350 has 4 modes. P for Pedestrian which is good for walking the scooter in stores while out shopping. 1 - 9 MPH 2 - 12 MPH 3 - 15 MPH I ride on the first setting most of the time, to ride safe & have an easier ride. There are a few downsides to this scooter as well. As you may see in my photo I have 6,666 miles recorded on the scooter. When I hit 66 miles on it's odometer it automatically added 6,600 miles - which to me it a big drawback issue. I got the scooter to record how many miles I would have taken off my car but this just is not acceptable in my honest opinion. I don't want fake miles added to my scooter. If I change to Kilometers it shows the correct distance - but this is the states. We use units of miles. Another drawback to this scooter is the wheels itself. They are airless tires which has it's ups of never going flat, but mostly downs. The rubber wheels with slits in them are suppose to act as a suspension to the scooter - which does not work very well. If your riding on bumpy roads, you will definitely feel every single bump. After a while it puts big strain on your feet. Going long distances on bumpy roads does not feel good & you'll be happy to reach your destination because you'll finally be able to get off the scooter. One other thing I do not like about the scooter is the horn. It's not loud enough to warn people that you are around. No more than 15 feet away pedestrians will not hear you at all. You must slow down & walk the scooter around pedestrians. Luckily my town has dedicated bike routes so that doesn't pose as much a problem. Last negative thing I would like to comment about the scooter is it's handlebars. They are strong, comfortable but they do not fold down. If they did, I could fit the scooter in the lockers at my gym - but they don't so I must drive my car when I want to get a workout. All in all, if the scooter is on sale for under 500 & you are ok with the drawbacks I left in my review it's a good buy. However if my comments about the scooter concern you about the purchase - keep looking. Look for a scooter with a suspension, air filled tires & no odometer issues.

Great scooter! Been comparing this from other escooters avail. This has been the best for me..from the box to looks, specs, speed,super lightweight! Only downside is no shocks but can live with that. Another great thing: I bought it from BEST BUY! Hassle free and friendly agents. Really, all of them are great esp Bestbuy Magnolia in PCH. Kudos to you guys! Keep up the good work

I have been impressed and wowed by this elegant electric scooter. As other major review websites have noted, this scooter is to other scooters what a Tesla is to other cars or Apple products to other consumer electronics. It is built with refinement and looks that stand out and that draw praise and compliments. It is lightweight and easy to use, and it has fitted into a part of my weekly commutes that I will further detail in this review. However, dollar for dollar, this is not the most powerful or longest-range scooter for the price, nor does it offer a comfortable ride in comparison to other e-scooters with suspension setups and pneumatic tires. With these disclosures, I will start jumping around with what I love and don’t love with this scooter. Assembly from the package is easy. It comes with easy-to-follow instructions with both a QR code for helpful videos and a full booklet. The scooter deck and stalk come assembled with the handlebar as a separate piece which must be attached to the stalk via a cable and 4 small screws with an included hex head screwdriver. Two extra screws are included in case of mishaps, and they all have pre-applied blue Loctite to avoid the screws backing out with vibrations. With that minor assembly accomplished, it was just a matter of peeling some protective plastic off and turning on the scooter the first time. The scooter came with about a half charge per the easy-to-read display on the handlebar. I knew that the instructions called for me to fully charge the scooter, but I just couldn’t wait to take it outside and try it! Helmet donned, scooter turned on, I started it out on its level 3 advanced mode because I like to live dangerously, haha. The scooter I noticed immediately felt quite peppy. I weigh 200 pounds, close to the max weight of 220 pounds for this scooter, so I was surprised it took off so nicely. This model has a single 350W motor to the rear wheel, so I was quite pleased with the acceleration and it’s maintaining its top speed of 15mph even up somewhat steep roads in my neighborhood. This scooter is by no means the model you would want if you lived in a city like San Francisco as it does quickly become anemic in its power limits up hills. I would look into the E500 that has dual 250W motors for better hill climbing. For flat suburban or well-maintained urban regions, this E350 suits the bill nicely. My initial ride completed, I took it home and fully charged it, and I have since put on about 30 miles on the odometer of the scooter. Here is a summary of my experience with the scooter so far: The 15-mile advertised max operating range does not apply to you if you are towards the heavier end of the weight limit as I am and like to use the top speed and advanced drive mode level 3. Realistically, I am getting closer to 8-10 miles of range out of the scooter with some slight voltage sag the last two miles, dropping my top speed to 7-9 mph or so. I did run it completely dead for a test, which is indicated by a red final bar on the battery indicator of the display and some beeps are sounded from the scooter to let you know it is almost dead. I then kicked it home another hundred yards or so manually and found that to be tiresome, but doable. There are definitely faster and longer-range scooters out there with heavier weight limits, Unagi offerings being among them such as the Model One, E500, or new and highly anticipated Model 11, so look into those if you have longer commutes and fall into a heavier weight class than a middleweight. My feelings aren’t too hurt by this operating range I am getting as I know that this scooter was almost definitely tested with lighter weight riders to produce the advertised figures. This scooter is virtually silent as it cruises down the road. There is no whine of an electric motor or anything. It sounds as sleek as it looks. I also found that I really like the electric brake. It is incredibly consistent and even going full speed it slows the scooter down safely and non-jerkily. The rear wheel manual friction brake is not spectacular as it has no grooves or tackiness to the inside surface to help slow you down more efficiently. It also does not activate the blinking of the rear red light when you use the manual brake, so I have gotten used to knowing it is there only in case I need to use it in combination with the electric brakes for emergency stops. The ride on these airless, vented tires is consistent, albeit rough. I never have to worry about a flat tire, but these tires which are supposed to have a shock absorber effect with their air channels, are small and make sure to inform you of every bump, groove, crack, and inconsistency on the pavement. Anyone with knee, foot, joint, or back problems should avoid this scooter for long commutes as it yields a fatiguing, bumpy ride as you zoom along the miles. Having a good, bent knee, proper stance on this scooter is crucial as there is little to provide you relief in the way of impacts. I also will be watching the wear of these tires closely, as some longer-time reviewers of other Unagi scooters have noted some rapid-wear of the tires if you put higher mileage on them. The scooter itself is built in an elegant fashion, but there are some tweaks I would make. Wider handlebars would be better, even just an inch on each side, to ensure a wider upper body frame for maintaining balance with greater ease. I would also love to see the charging method be changed to a USB-C power delivery setup, so that one could have a single USB-C PD charging device and wall adapter on the go that could handle charging the scooter and other devices like laptops etc. I would love for the “horn” which is just a high-pitched beep, to be a bit louder and attention grabbing. Any further suggestions I would make have all been addressed in the latest Model 11 that Unagi is developing that includes full suspension, easily swappable battery, etc. In summary, this scooter is an amazing micro-electric transportation device, but it is not for the long commuter or for overly rough regions like downtown NYC where potholes and construction would be a constant threat to unfoot you from this small scooter. This scooter proves that electric scooters do not have to be ugly, obnoxious, or cumbersome in order to yield reasonable transportation for light commutes. I have LOVED this scooter for my commute into and around my small suburban town. The headlight is nice and bright and works perfect for getting home after dark with these PNW early sunsets. The bright taillight is great and grabs attention with the blinking when you brake with the electric brake and otherwise being on all the time. Going and doing my errands like picking up small groceries, going to my gym, and even commuting to my work on nice days is all attainable with this awesome lightweight, compliment-garnering scooter. Just be aware of the limitations I have outlined above and make an informed decision about the purchase of this scooter! Thanks for reading and good luck with your purchase decision!

Honestly, this is my first electric scooter, and it is so much fun; surprisingly, my experience with this Unagi Model One E350 electric scooter is fantastic. I made the right choice when I decided to buy Unagi. First, unboxing was neat and clean, and I'm thankful for Unagi for the excellent attention to the packaging aspect. Assembly took me less than 10 minutes to screw the handlebar and put the scooter on charge. No more DYI work I had to do; the scooter was almost ready out of the box!!. Materials are high quality, and for a person like me who is meticulous with my stuff, I would say the scooter is well built. The rubber handlebar gives an excellent grip, and the rubbery Unagi logo on the top of the deck surface gives a good grip. Foldability is perfect and easy to do so. Handlebar dashboard controls are intuitive and straightforward. The acceleration peddle is on the right, the brake is on the left, the small oval button on the right is for changing the speed mode from 1 to 3, left oval button is for the horn. The power button is in the center that also for turning the light on/off. The blinking LED on the rear is bright and easy to be seen by street drivers. The top speed of this scooter is 15.5 mph Max, and one charge is sufficient for 15 miles. However, the battery life depends on the rider's weight and where the scooter is being driven on, as it varies from an uphill or flat surface. This scooter combines beauty and high build quality, performance, and quiet and smooth riding. This Unagi scooter brought joy to my Thanksgiving holiday.

Amazing scooter. It has been my first experience with an electric one, and let me tell you, this scooter is built like a Mercedes Benz. The quality, simplicity of use is amazing. They pride themselves on using super strong, yet lightweight materials like magnesium, carbon fiber etc. It came in a large box, not bigger than, I would say a 43-inch TV. I was extremely surprised to see that the scooter came almost put on together already. The only thing you need to do is attach the cable the joins the steering column with the handle T bar and then screw in 4 hex type screws (they include 6 just in case and I noticed they pre applied some blue Loctite on them, great!). And that’s it! You’re ready to go. Of course, you must charge the battery first (first charge took me like 2 hours, I think it had some charge already from factory, since their manual states a full charge should take longer). Once ready (and after a good read of the manual) I turned it on. Amazing, the status screen gives you plenty of info, like battery level, speed, distance traveled. There is a brake and “gas” thumb pedals (that’s how I call them). Also, a horn (very quiet one I must say) and one button to change between power modes. This one is important. You can change between Beginner, intermediate and advanced. Each one with higher top speeds and acceleration. I would recommend starting with the beginner and going up from there. I have not had the need to change it on mine, I ride on beginner and its plenty fast and fun. I’ve been using the scooter mostly for errands or grocery shopping close to my place. No more spending gas on short trips, loving it! The scooter is super well built, lightweight (more on this later) has many safety features. It has a red back light that blinks and a front LED light for night (extremely strong!). You can fold in the steering column so you can carry the scooter around on with you, but, at least for me its too cumbersome. It may be lightweight, but its cumbersome to carry it around while doing some light grocery shopping or running errands. If you plan on using it that way (rather than just fun rides), I will highly recommend a lock (the company itself recommends the Kryptonite New York U lock, at least 10 inches long one, I must get me one of these). Other than that, it’s a great and fun scooter, battery life is great if you follow their recommendations in their website (avoiding steep hills i.e.), lightweight and extremely well-constructed. Get one, you won’t regret it, you will have so much fun, or as in my case, save so much gas!!
