Customers frequently mention the 200-Device Universal Remote's compatibility with a wide range of home entertainment devices as a significant advantage. However, they also cite challenges with the remote's ease of use and setup process, finding it difficult to operate and requiring technical expertise for proper configuration. Some users reported needing professional assistance to program the device. Overall, the product's broad compatibility is praised, but its usability is a major point of concern.

Really good remote, but set up needs to be done by a tech. No software included to do it yourself. Anytime you change components a tech needs to come out and reprogram the remote which can get expensive. Otherwise , I'm happy with this purchase and the remote's performance.

After three visits by the BestBuy Geek Squad, they still could not get it programmed. In addition, after paying almost $500.00 fir this remote, the manufacturer wanted another $200.00 to program it. And it is not as if we were trying to program all 200 devices it allegedly is capable of controlling. It was going to be used on three items: TV, receiver, and blu-ray player. Then, to add insult to injury, I had to but a $400.00 IR device sonI would not have to point it directly at the receiver to make it work. After the third Geek Squad visit, I returned it to the store, along with the IR device. I guess don’t mind having to turn around and point my three remotes to their devices, if it will save me $1,100.00. Terrible experience and the Geek Squad never got it to work.

We are a few weeks into the purchase and the remote works pretty well so far. The geek squad programmed it and only occasionally does it behave unexpectedly. Turning it on and off fixes the issue. A good product that allows you to keep all components in a separate room so there are no set top boxes in sight. Very nice!
