tough to figure outPosted .
Talked into buying this over getting another Logitech. The set up is not too user-friendly, because the breadth of products they have in their database is limited. For example, my Denon receiver was not in their database; nor was my DirecTV box. For the money, I figured this remote would have all the devices and models available and the set up would be a snap. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case, so I didn't even finish the set up. I was too frustrated, so I packed it up and will be returning it and buying a Logitech. No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Nothing this remote can't do!Posted .
5 stars overall! What it can do is weighted more heavily then the one time setup or price. Now this remote is in the advanced section for a reason, but if you are able to setup your own audio/visual equipment then this should not be an issue and should be welcomed because inevitably features equals complexity. Setup: 63" Samsung Plasma TV wall mounted on front wall with single HDMI cable back to receiver. Cable box, Samsung Blue-ray player, Denon a/v receiver, i-pod docking station and Wii are all located inside a cabinet off to the side. Used with RF basestation MRF-350 to controll all the components so no line of sight is necessary (except for TV). Next project: Use remote to control lighting in the media room.I would recommend this to a friend
