Q: When will this be available for purchase?
A: It already is, you would just need to go to a store to purchase it because it requires professional programming.
A: It will support IR in the remote, but it does not come with an RF base station if there are devices you need to control that will not be within line of sight. This remote is hand-programmed only, and requires professional programming similarly to the MX-790, but the MX-790 can track states for devices that are toggle power/input and supports computer programming. The base station you'd want to partner with it is an MRF-260 or MRF-350.
