Emerging filmmaker Mushon Salmona uses restless cinematography and non-professional actors in order to capture the restlessness, xenophobia, and prevalent fears of young people in early-21st Century Jerusalem as he weaves the tale of three disparate protagonists brought together on a mission to reinvigorate their local football club. Shlomi lives in Israel with his mother, stepfather, and sister, and earns his living by selling pizzas, while Ethiopian Adiel spends the majority of his time looking after his ailing mother and younger brother. Meanwhile, Russian immigrant Dima fights an uphill battle against stereotypes that would peg him a gangster or drug dealer. When their teacher and trainer asks Shlomi, Adiel, and Dima to work together in leading their local football club to the championship game at the Vasermil Stadium, the three boys must overcome some serious obstacles in order to achieve ultimate victory. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
