This season wasn't as tight as the first, which leads me to believe that it wasn't expected to have a second season. However, the improve aspect is entertaining though it does tend to ignore any kind of story, which is ultimately what this season needs. Toward the end of the season there arises the potential for the Veep to rise to the highest office in the land and though this is a comedy I believe there is a real opportunity for this comedy to actually develop some dramatic chops but it fails in its execution falling back into the same predictable roles that other political comedies have already done. In all actuality, this show is a one trick pony that missed a chance to rise above its station and truly be political satire. This season is funny but you won't laugh so much as chuckle at the recycled humor from the first season.

The second season of VEEP is even funnier than the first. The cast has found their groove and continues to shine. The shows continues to receive awards (Emmys for Julia Louis-Dreyfus are well-deserved!) for it's brilliant take on our government. Do yourself a favor, watch this show!

Was channel surfing once and came across this show on HBO. Once I finished seeing the two episodes that were airing, I knew I had to buy the Blu-ray. Bought Seasons 1 & 2 and can't wait until Season 3 is released. A must have for anybody's comedy collection.
