It is not a high end audiophile turntable, however, the swing arm is quite robust and metal... not cheap light weight plastic like on others in the price range. Cartridge is decent. Speakers are battery powered, Bluetooth enabled and able to take AC power. The way to have success with this unit is simple. Use the Power adapter cables to split the power from the wall wart to the Turntable and 1 speaker. Wire the speakers to the LP Player. Since you can always have 1 speaker plugged to power, if the other runs out you can just swap the charging cable from Speaker #1 to Speaker #2. You won't run out of juice ever if you remember to keep one always plugged in to charge. I do like the aesthetics a lot. The speakers are more robust than you may expect. A do wish there was a tad more bass, however, the signal can be split to a sub if necessary (or the player wired to a receiver.) Cons: Lacks a bass booster; No Dust Cover (I use the plastic sheet that was in the box to cover the platter when I'm not using the player.) Good value and quality for the $.

I think its an ok system, because it has a few negatives. There is only one power cord, which ok you think fine, why do you need more than one. Well that cord is also used to charged each of the speakers, which you can only do one at a time, so you have to remember to charge when you are not using it when you are ready you are in a pickle. They speakers seem to run out of power quick too. I think the speakers should have had a separate option for charging, or atleast include two power cords. I didn't have issues really getting the speakers to sync, I had to do it twice though, but it was fine. I will likely move this one to my bedroom or spare bedroom, as it is too much work to do for it to be in the living room as my main source or record playing. I will get another for the living room and I will know what to look for this time at least.
