I am using this as a capture device with a camera to do live streaming with a Linux system. After trying other devices that did not play well with Linux, I found this one works flawlessly out of the box. It simplified my work tremendously, and the passthrough allows us to have a large monitor in another room for those outside the auditorium.

I can't say this is the best capture device I've ever used since this is my first one. It's a bit difficult to use in the beginning with a PS4 you have to change around some settings. After that it works great, that quality is fantastic and I'm glad I choose this product to try out.

I purchased this to get the video from a camcorder to the computer for recording. It works really well and ordering online from Best Buy was easy and the shipping was quick.
