Had to buy a different cord to connect the VGA to my laptop, but it was plug and play after that.

Good basic monitor, but speakers very tinny and volume is too low even on maximum. I like the horizontally elongated screen, and also the anti-glare surface was a must for me, even though some people would prefer the high reflective type. Not a high end monitor, but okay for the price.

I ordered 2 of these monitors for my husbands work space at home! they are just the right size and are exactly what he wanted. Also very affordable.
