    Blue Cheer Vincebus Eruptum

This is the worst sounding CD I have ever heard! The transfer from analog recording to digital is bad. I like the songs, but the volume is really low and it doesn't have any dynamic range. It was engineered very poorly. There isn't any bass or drums that stand out. It is like listening to a two inch speaker in a transistor radio. I've seen an old video of Blue Cheer performing Summer Time Blues and it Rocked. This CD sounds bland at best.

Good Study of begaining of heavy metal, this group actually helped invent heavy metal. remember this is early hard rock ,crude but interesting. It is very good for the time it was done. Very good heavy metal roots. Shame D. Paterson died, pioneer of heavy metal. Blue Cheers bass player and vol. Very cool piece of rock history.

    vincebus eruptum blue cheer

Without a doubt one of the heaviest hard rock albums ever made, not for the faint of heart or wimps.Super loud guitar with plenty of fuzztone and feedback through out.Great vocals from Dickie Peterson and pounding drumming by Paul Whaley.A masterpiece of primitive hard rock.
