I bought this after doing some research and did not see that there is an annual fee and without you can't use the device. I think it should come with a manual remote starter so you can choose to not use the gps feature if you decide it isn't worth the extra annual cost. Sometimes it won't start because it says there's an authentication error with the server. I wish it notified you when it was started because if you miss the quick check mark you don't even know if it worked. Once it gave me the error signal about 4 times and when I finally got to the garage my car was running.

This item works well the phone app is easy to use. Its a little slow to unlock/lock there is quite a delay, so you have to unlock much sooner than usual while walking to the vehicle or you will be waiting outside for the doors to unlock. Wish the app showed the vehicle status as you trigger each command. There is a page that will show you this info but it takes a while to load, but overall we like it. Our factory installed option would shutdown the vehicle when the doors were unlocked, then you would have to start the vehicle with the key again.

I do like this but the only problem is that you have to purchase a service AFTER purchasing the product. It is awesome that I can start my car from anywhere but I really don't like the fact that I have to pay for service to do that.
