My first Vitamix , purchased in 1985, lasted 32 years with almost daily use for my breakfast SlimFast shake. This new Vitamix Professional 200 is different cosmetically, but has the same outstanding performance I want and need. It's also lighter, easier to clean, and has liquid measurements molded into the container for precise ingredient additions. It's powerful, quieter than my old Vitamix, and will undoubtedly serve me for the rest of my life. Don't buy cheap, buy the Vitamix, you'll be so glad you did!

This blender makes the best smoothies, ice cream & soup! Yes this Vitamix is pricey but it is a great investment. My bother likes his so much. I decided to buy me a blender. This is the BEST BLENDER EVER! I purchased the Vitamix via my Best Buy app. I got to the store and the price was $67 cheaper in the store. I was so happy!!! It comes with a seven year warranty.
