- A: AnswerThis TV will work fine for Local Channels....honestly I bought this TV to replace a previous Roku TV in the same location and using the same antenna...and it seems to have even better reception to pick up local channels Local Channels: in order to get local channels they are broadcasted by your local stations.... It is a digital signal so it will come in mostly HD ...the thing to realize is the signal is still a radio signal as such u can use basic rabbit ears connected to the coaxial connection on the back , if the station is within about 15miles or less you won't need a powered antenna that plugs into the wall ....but if you are further or want a greater variety of channels get a powered antenna as you can adjust the power to have different stations available

Awesome Tv!
Owned for 9 months by when reviewed.I'd be happy to share my thoughts on a 40-inch flat-screen TV. I believe that this size is the perfect sweet spot for a TV, as it's large enough to provide an immersive viewing experience, but not so large that it takes up too much space. Great when it works!
Owned for 6 months by when reviewed.Streaminh apps don’t work at times. It turns on blurry and scrambled. I have to unplug the tv and let it reset. It works great then! I love the tv when it works! Great pic and sound!

Good choice
Owned for less than 1 week by when reviewed.I purchased the Vizio D class 40 inch from Best by at a decent price and after some fine tuning of the settings I was amazed at the picture quality at this price. I bought this to replace my 40 in Samsung which was a good tv, but the Vizio surprised me with an awesome picture quality. You will not be disappointed if you’re in the market for a small tv at a reasonable price in today’s market. Enjoy its benefits
