I'm a techy, so setting it up was a breeze. I hook up big screen TVs and hang them, and connect them to audio components. I've been an audio file for 30-plus years and know a thing or two about home entertainment. It was easy to program my Vizio with my DirecTV remote. No sweat! I'm very happy with this set and didn't want to buy something I wasn't sure of, like a Hisense or a TC l, or any of those odd Brands. I was looking for a Panasonic but... Sigh.

I purchased this VIZIO - 40" Class D-Series LED Full HD SmartCast TV (Model:D40F-G9SKU) two days ago and it was delivered yesterday by a very careful young man. The TV was easy to set up via HDMI cables to my Xfinity cable box and even connected an old Toshiba VCR/DVD combo player via HDMI as well. It took a few times to get the wifi to connect and after it did and after it updated the software, everything is working just fine. I adjusted the picture (color, tint, etc.) and the picture is fabulous. I am thrilled with this TV. I bought it to replace an 11 year old HD Vizio TV which was still working very well but wanted the latest and greatest tv. I will donate the old Vizio to the AmVets. I am now considering purchasing a 2.1 Vizio sound bar for this tv since it's on sale and would love to have one. I highly recommend this tv.

I love this tv. Vizio is a pretty good brand. The size is just right for the bedroom and the features are nice. Sound is decent but I added a Vizio sound bar and that has made a HUGE difference! The screen clarity is great as well. I would say, this is a great tv for a master bedroom. Very easy to set up as. I just hope Vizio adds more apps to their library.

I waited several months before providing an honest opinion/review on the, VIZIO 40" Smart TV. This is such an amazing investment; it's thoroughly gorgeous and it fits perfectly in my armoire. High quality in crisp visual effects; hooking it up was Easy Peaszy; picture quality is superb. Amazing, professional, customer service representives as well. I use the remote control provided; my cellphone; an other social media devices to program it. How cool is that? All in all, I highly recommend The Brand and Smart TV.

Easy to set up, very light and easy to mount on the wall. Only hassle with this TV is if you want to mount it on the wall. You will need special sized screws for the TV to mount it. You can find them at your local hardware store.

Great TV for the guest bedroom can accommodate, Gaming boxes for the kids. And streaming for the adults plus free movies. So much of it haven't even begun to get into it. But I like it very much....

Love this smart TV! It fits perfectly in my trailer, and my husband really likes the VIZIO channel it comes with. I love not having to rely on cable, we use it for Netflix, amazon prime and YouTube TV.
