Designed to run off app which is quirky. Price is good value. Bought it to just run net flicks etc not my direct tv. Setup quirky but customer service helpful. Still can't get amazon prime video added to their app options. But for the price a good tv.

Good but not great.

However, quick moving objects with a station background creates some stuttering in thing object, while audio continues playing normally, then video catches up again. I think the effective "120" refresh rate (while actually being a 60Hz panel) is the culprit. Included remote is a joke. Useful menus must be reached using an app you download on your smartphone. I have contacted Vizio and requested a XRT135 remote--a new model they're quietly supplying to disgruntled owners so they can directly access picture, audio and other functions that the basic remote locks out.

I currently do not have wifi at home and so am unable to comment on the "smart" aspects of it. Only frustrating thing is the remote. Very basic and no numbers to jump from channel to channel... It does have feature where you can download an app to your phone to operate the tv that way but again, without wifi at home and just using the digital HDTV, still a good product. I have noticed that at times, even with good weather & reception, the tv will cut out and be blank for few seconds.... not sure if anyone else has experienced this or if I got a faulty tv?? Overall good tv for the price.

I bought this TV with the sole purpose of steaming and ditching the cable cord like many others are doing these days. The built in 'Chromcast' feature to me was a nice to have, but I quickly found out that it wasn't very reliable. I've had to literally 'reboot' the TV several times to get it to pick up the wireless signal. The remote that came with the TV is essentially useless and I ended up needing to purchase a basic android tablet to use as a TV remote. Long story short I just went and picked up a Roku express unit and now it all works like I wanted it to from the beginning. Again, love the picture, but if I had it to do all over again I would have just purchased a regular SMART TV.

- A:Answer Hello. Your phone is still useable. You can get calls send and recieve text messages emails etc. Depending on your smartphone it can be the remote control also.

Q: QuestionIn the specs the Vizio is listed as coming equipped with 3 HDMI inputs. However in the pictures of the unit it only shows only two HDMI inputs. Where is the third HDMI input located?

- A:Answer Not what ur used 2. You can cast video from the Visio cast app. It is functional. I have not been able to figure out how to add apps th their list. I have other smart tv's this is just different not as functional. It serves our goal to have a tv in the hearth room not connected to our satellite.
