Customers are enthusiastic about the picture quality, ease of use, and the inclusion of Chromecast and a tablet. Many appreciate the value for the price and vibrant colors. However, some customers expressed concerns regarding the remote control, HDR compatibility, and the lack of a built-in tuner and the sound quality. The backlight also received some negative feedback.
I never write reviews but feel compelled to given the amount of time I put in to deciding on a tv. I want to give researchers an honest review. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews prior to purchasing this tv. The first tv that was delivered had severe led separation and light bleed which looked like someone was pressing on the bottom of the screen creating white halos on every picture. I returned it to BB and set up a time to have another delivered. The second one was fine for about 10 days. One evening a green line appeared down the left side of the screen and all but the hdmi 5 port quit working. I had the geek squad come out to take a look. They actually recommended that I do not get a third tv delivered. The tech stated that he had 4 calls in the last 3 weeks for this same model. They recommended a Sony 950 instead which I got however it's a 65" instead of 70" for the same price. I will admit that I was sold on this Vizio obviously for the price but the fact that it is the only 4K tv that supposedly has an actual 240hz panel. Note that True 4K is only on 1 of the 5 hdmi ports. I must admit that the picture quality was very very good. I thought the tablet was nice and easy to use. Setting up the picture was very easy as well. It was very easy to get rid of the soap opera effect which I find very annoying. I would have given this 5 stars had I not had to return 2 tv's in 12 days. I suppose it's the risk you take when you pay $1700 for a 70" tv. If you decide to get this tv make sure you get the geek squad protection plan. I really wish I could have got one that worked but I don't want to deal with returning tv's.

I got this TV on black Friday on an open box sale. The sticker said the tablet remote was missing. So I got it for 1400. When I got it home and set it up the remote was in the box. What a great deal on a great TV. The picture is amazing. Very easy to use and setup.

TV looks great, has a great picture, and the streaming features are awesome from other smart devices. But the problem is the backlight slowly fails and after 3 months it is super noticeable. No big deal, they have a great replacement program and i had another tv within a week. They switched it out in my house, put it back on the tv mount and everything. 3 months later, backlight issues again but this time there are no more replacements unless you purchased the extended warranty. Replacements are only warrantied for 90 days, funny how it was just after this time that the 2nd tv backlight fails. Check out the photo. For an $1800 television, you would expect more.
