Amazing sound!!

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I had my doubts coming from Bose but this has superb sound quality for the price. I tested it with variety of music, DTS-X, Dolby Atmos and HDR 4k content and I was astounded how well this thing did. I’m a bit of an audiophile and can confirm this soundbar system will not disappoint. Great all rounder. It’s not the most amazing sound I’ve heard but for the price, you’ll really be impressed and happy you were able to achieve a thousand dollar sound with a couple hundred bucks. I really like how seamless the installation was and how easy it was to sync it with my 4K tv. Extremely happy the mounts for the surround sound units were included. That’s a huge plus.

Overall Solid, but too weak for larger living roo

Quality3 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Pros: Its better than tv speakers and delivers exceptionally on surround sound. It has solid clarity with vibrant voices. Cons: Sub struggles to perform well when pushing the volume above 85%-90%. When pushing beyond this, the woofer will start to rattle which really took away from my viewing experience. Background: I don't consider myself to be an audiophile, but I do enjoy good sound. The bulk of my audio experience is working with car audio systems and installing/having them in my personal vehicles. Summary/Personal Opinion: I threw this system in my 100sqft bedroom thinking that it would be more than enough to give me the theater like experience that I wanted. Sadly, I would say that it just barely fits what I was looking for. The sub felt too small to carry the low end on many of the scenes and I found myself often adjusting the volume to get rid of the slight rattle. The surrounding speakers did a surprisingly well job and gave great clarity with both music and sound effects. of course I had to adjust the Eq/Level to achieve this, but was happy with the end result there. Overall its a solid set up! I wouldn't care to try and put this in a living room to fit more than 4 people (or 2 couches) though as I feel like it will struggle to really give that immersive experience. I think this is perfect for smaller rooms catered towards the individual/couple experience.

Amazing Sound!!!

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Amazing Sound!!! The bass and sound through my living area is just perfect. My wife didn’t like the idea of purchasing a surround system but now that she hear the sound, she even connected her mobile device to play some music. I placed the subwoofer between the wall and the sofa which created a nicer boom sound. The two extra speakers I installed them on the corner of the wall and ceiling. In my case it work better to distribute the sound.

WOW! Best sound system for the money!

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This is a replacement for a Samsung sound system which didn’t work well with my Vizio TV. The sound would fade in or out, go silent. Just didn’t work like it should. Doing my research I learned it is best if you buy same brand sound system as your TV. Which I did. WOW! What a difference with the sound on all programs I watch or listen to. I have never had to adjust the volume up or down for fading out. For the price it is the best investment you can make to listen to better programming. I will definitely stay with the Vizio brand. They have not failed me yet!

V-series sound system

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Purchased 2 of these to go with our VIZIO V-series TV. One for me and one for my daughter. They both work and sound great. Easy to setup and get started. TV remote also can be used to control volume but if wanting to change sound settings will need to use original remote control. Overall, very satisfied with purchase.

For $200 this is a great product!

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Bass, Price, Sound qualityPros: Sound range Sound quality Bass Bluetooth All black Cons: None I’ve tried a few sound bar systems in the $200 price range. I’ve tried both the previous Vizio 5.1 channel surround sound and a Samsung r40m sound bar. The previous Vizio had a lot of issues ranging from volume to connection issues, so I was very skeptical about this model but surprisingly I have not had any major issues, the only issue I’ve ran into was regarding the volume but I’m not sure if it was the sound bar or Hulu messing up. For instance, after commercials the volume would get very low on the sound bar but just changing the surround sound back and forth to the same setting fixed it. Overall I love how you can have the speakers either in the rear or have them in the front. I would love to see true wireless speakers in the future because I hate cords but for this price range they will do. I have this setup in my living room apartment.

Q: QuestionIs the speakers wireless just like the subwoofer or just the subwoofer? And how do you connect the speakers with a soundbar and the subwoofer?
Asked by Nightwolf.
- A:Answer The sub connects via Bluetooth and the 2 satellite speakers connect via wires to the sub, and therefore are connected to the bar via the sub. Also the speakers on the bar can be adjusted in depth including left/right

Q: Questionworks with samsung TV and how many watts is it?
Asked by sampalta.
- A:Answer I’ve had horrible connectivity issues with my Samsung RU8000. Optical no longer works, 2 days after the 14-day return period (really BB, only 14 days?!). When it did work, there was a sound delay. Don’t even bother with Bluetooth, it’s nearly useless! You have to reconnect in the menu every time you turn the TV back on. Save your money and buy something else. Worst purchase I have ever made. Money down the drain!

Q: QuestionDoes it include cables for the satellite speakers and if so, what is their length?
Asked by Rander.
- A:Answer Yes, they are included and they are 8 meters long, or about 26 feet.

Q: QuestionVizio V51-H6 36" 5.1 What is the speakers total wattage? Is is loud enough to fill a 20 FT by 20 FT room? How strong is the sub Woofer?
Asked by ABMusic.
- A:Answer They aren't sharing the watts, which is a bit frustrating. My suspicion is because the number is likely unimpressive. With that said, I wouldn't worry to much about the watt number because these speakers are powerful. Plenty powerful to fill a 20x20 room!

Q: QuestionThe sticker on the back on the sound bar says that the sound bar has Dolby audio. What specific Dolby format(s) does the sound bar support? (Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Volume, Dolby True Logic IIz, Dolby AC-4)
Asked by Jacob.
- A:Answer DD only. All others need to be passed as stereo otherwise no sound. :( I am surprised it doesn't play DD+, at least not from a local file. Although it does play DD from Netflix, which I thought was DD+.

Q: QuestionCan the volume be controlled from my VIZIO TV remote or do I have to use the soundbar remote for volume?
Asked by Rander.
- A:Answer Yes if it is connected with HDMI arc or it is a VIZIO TV.

Q: QuestionIs it possible to mount the subwoofer to the wall? I don't have room in the back of my living room to put the subwoofer and don’t want to put it in front by the tv and run the wires all the way back to the speakers
Asked by Subwoofer.
- A:Answer There are no mounting brackets for the subwoofer. I guess you could mount some type of shelf to the wall and put the subwoofer on it. However, you would then have the wires to the rear speakers showing. I placed my subwoofer on the floor next to couch which faces the tv. I then ran the rear speaker wires behind the couch on the baseboard and up the wall in each corner. There are mounting brackets for the rear speakers. Also if you choose to do that, you can go to Lowe’s and find small tubes that mount on your baseboard and then you hide your wires inside this tube. You can also put the tubes on the wall in the corners. That way almost all of your speaker wire is hidden
