A: You can put it on the counter, but heat rises - so best to place on the floor.
Q: can i use it during summer for fresh air?
A: No. this is straight a heater. if you are looking for a dual function get the Vornado VMH500. it has heat and fan functions
Q: Does it only have a six inch cord?
A: This appliances cord is about two feet long.
Q: Took unit apart. Can not remember how the metal panel fits underneath the unit housing. Help!!
