I like the phone because it was easy to set up, all I had to do was plug it into an electrical outlet. It is nice and slim and lightweight. The only downside is there is no flashing light indicator to let you know there are voice mail messages. You have to look at the LCD display to see if it says "voice mail". My last phone which was 10 years old, had the flashing light signal when there was a voice mail message. I just assumed this one also had it since it is ten years newer. Other than that I would recommend the phone.

I already had the base and since switching over to Majic Jack needed handsets that do not require additional phone lines in the home. This "speaks" to the phone connected to Majic Jack from anywhere in the house. I plan on buying a few more -- one for each room. However I live in a single level home and don't know whether it works in homes that have several stories. It is very easy to set up and use -- works out of the box.

If you need a cordless phone, this is the one. Price is good. I needed to replace one unit since it was lost. We have had the main system for at least four years and have not needed to replace battery. You can take the unit about two hundred feet from base before it looses the signal. Hopefully this unit will last like the the original one does.
