Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - Xbox 360

That's why I give it 5 stars. Relic has been working on this title for some time now and I feel that the game will be very full. Hours played, etc. If you are to compare Gears of War 3 with this game, you have to realize that that Space Marines is a generation 1 game and Gears is a generation 3 game. Well that's how I look at it anyway. What's nice about Space Marines is the combat system that noticed in some of the early videos. It seems to have an arcade type flow to it where your pressing a combination. But other than that it's all hack and slash. Over all I wouldn't compare this to another game other than the fact that it's a third person shoot'a! WAAA!

I, along with many other 40k fans have been dreaming of the moment when we would get our Halo or Gears of War. Now we have it! This game has a great authentic feel of the dark war-torn 41st millennium. The campaign has a decent storyline and isn't cut short to save room for the multiplayer experience of the game like so many other first person shooter games seem to be doing these days. The multiplayer is good nothing new or inventive but a nice change of pace from the campaign as well as giving the player a chance to customize his or her character from chapter allegiance to weapons loadouts and even allowing creating your own Imperial Space Marine Chapter or Traitor Legion. All in all it is a great FPS ge for the Games Workshop brand which in my opinion has been long overdue. The graphics and scenery and setting in the game really helps to bring the 40k world to life and the game play offers enough ork stompin, gretchin bursting, traitor marine decapitating action to satisfy even the biggest beserker. I hope that this is the first game in a long line of FPS Space Marine games. For The Emporer!

This game was offf the wall! I am personally a COD player and thats the only game that is fun too me but this game got me off cod and was freaken fun. The weapons are so sweet and you have cool enemies to KEEEEELLL!!!!

I have been a 40k dork my whole life and this game is one of the few satisfying games set in the 40k universe.

A great 3rd person action game, finally for the 40k fan
