Customers are satisfied with Wasteland 2: Director's Cut's engaging gameplay, which many compare to classic Fallout titles, and its compelling story. The game's price point is frequently praised, especially when purchased on sale. While some players found the text size challenging, the positive feedback on the turn-based combat, character creation, and extensive content outweighs this concern. Overall, players appreciate the game's old-school feel combined with modern enhancements.
This is an overhead, turn-based CRPG set in a vast (you guessed it) post-apocalyptic wasteland. It has a western feel to its sense of style and art direction. It's very gritty and tactically intense. Players use a party of four to quest through a fun, enthralling story, or even create their own party from the deep customization options. Players will uncover new areas by simply traversing around during the experience. It started a bit slow and quite difficult, but quickly became rapidly engaging and addictive, due to the heavily turn-based, tactical nature of the game. My only small gripes are its learning curve at its opening and the speed in which characters run around the areas being a bit slower than I'd prefer. However, the ridiculous amount of ways to approach situations (lock pick a gate, physically knock it down, steal a key, etc.) makes up for any of these in the greater span of this game's identity. It's a must-play for fans of the original Fallout, Divinity and even X-COM.

This game is taking a while for me because I'm a terrible hoarder. The variety of items that you can stash is cool. I like the turn based attack features, especially since I'm coming from a PC platform. It reminds me a bit of StarCraft with the playability. You have to be smart with the positioning of your characters and how you interact with your environment. This game makes you think.

Great game that evokes Fallout, the original Wasteland, and the new XCOM games. Has and old-school difficulty in not holding your hand in telling you what to do, but is one of the best games of the year, if you enjoy this type of XCOM+Fallout gameplay and environment. Also, the game has tons of content, 80+ hours at least.
