This LG water filter works as it should, no leaks and easy install. I have used other cheap filters that did not filter very well and sometimes leaked. Don't try to save money with the other filter, stick with the LG brand.

This filter, regardless of its high cost, works very well. After replacement, flushed my Ice and water system within hours and the water smell, and floating fibers from the past filter was not present. Great product, but needs a price adjustment. My refrigerator is 7 years old and the price of the filter has never gone down.

The filter makes the water clean and fits perfectly. If my refrigerator ever stops working because of the filter, it's an LG branded filter and I can call LG and get them to fix it. Best Buy price matched another retailer that carried a cheaper filter, and they always have this filter in stock, so it's convenient.
