First time I didn't like the product. I didn't feel the pressure of the water was strong enough and it was very messy all around my sink and myself. On top, I also felt the water finished way before I was done with all my teeth. But...since I hardly return anything back, due to lack of time and convenience of post office, I tried to create a different flow to use this product. I currently use warm water on high setting of the pressure. I bend over my tub and all the mess goes in the tub away from sink and mirrors. I learnt to be faster and after few trials I actually start likening it more and more. Now I found myself that it is a MUST to use it. I don't do the regular floss anymore, and adding the teeth brushing, I really feel my mouth so much better. I would recommend an even higher pressure setting, the actual one is a bit more stronger than the highest pressure shower head if you have one. I always ask for water pressure at the dentist office and no, it is not at that level. I also feel the hole that the water comes out can be made smaller. I guess just by that alone the pressure might go up to what I would like. And can't find any other way to use it around my sink without making a mess of it, but tub works fine for me.

When I bought this, the larger one with the hose and large reservoir was on sale, so they were the same price. I chose this one because I thought it would be easier to use because of it's size. Also, I thought I'd also possibly travel with it. If I had to do it all over, I'd go ahead and get the larger one. I have smallish hands and this turned out to be larger than I thought it would be, so I think it's less maneuverable than just having the tip and hose in your mouth. Also, unless you're really dedicated, it's not so small that you'd want to pack it on a trip. Furthermore, the reservoir doesn't hold enough fluid to make more than 1 pass, so for thoroughly cleanings, you'll need to refill. Finally, there's only 2 settings, whereas the other has 10. Once you get used to the lo setting, the hi doesn't feel much different.

I read some of the reviews and I cannot understand why this product does not have 5 stars. It is an excellent product. It is not messy when used properly. My gums felt less irritated after just one use. Regular flossing didn't work for me because I have multiple crowns (I regret eating all the candy growing up, no I dont) Anyway, my gums always felt irritated where I have the the crowns, this waterpik has helped me so much with that problem. I have a small bathroom so I needed something that didn't take much space, this product is perfect. If you're not satisfied with the size, then get the bigger one. It has four different tips which you can change according to your flossing needs. You won't regret it, this thing is awesome, it helps with bad breath too.

Over many yrs I have been taking many medicines for many medical issues, I was told that I would need to have ALL my teeth removed & get dental implants my journey from the 1st 5 teeth being removed due to extremely dry mouth to going to a special dental place to have the rest of what needs to be done took about 3 yrs. After the 1st 5 then there were a few more than the remainder were taken out all @ 1 time. I was given "temporary dentures" then the implants & finally the "finals" that I am not able to take out. So certain foods little partials get under the & WaterPik is a wonderful thing as it's portable so I can take it with me & I have 2 - 1 I keep in my car & 1 @ home. When I went from the temporary dentures I couldn't even chew "scrambled eggs or watermelon" but when I finally got the permanent ones I experimented with different foods &'was even able to eat corn-on-the-cob!!!

This water flosser is easy to use, but a little messy (probably because I haven't figured out the best way to do it yet). I'm not a flosser and my dentist and hygienist frown at me every visit so when I heard about water flossing, I figured I'd give it a try. After doing some research on corded and cordless models, I went with this one for ease of use and I'm glad I did. I got the black one and I think it looks sharper than the white one. Pros: Easy to use; no cord to get in the way; fits in the hand nicely; stores easily; runs forever on a charge (admittedly, I don't use it daily, but I've had it over a month on a single charge) Cons: Tank only holds about 15 seconds of water (but you can just fill it for additional time); only high and low pressure settings, a little messy (but that's true for any water flosser)

I got this because my daughter got braces. I was resistant due to past experiences. Buying an expensive machine that takes up room, has hoses that drag across my bathroom area, oh and the worst of all, cleaning the stupid thing. All for 2 minutes a day of cleanliness that I can achieve with good floss? >>>WELL LET ME ASSURE YOU THIS MACHINE HAS NONE OF THOSE PROBLEMS!!!<<< It is not overly expensive, especially when compared to similar products. It does not take up any room on my counter-top. Cleaning could not be any easier. Battery life is phenomenal. Only draw back, I have been unable to find spare tips in stores, I have had to order online. This is not a deal killer. Honestly, it is one less thing to remember while shopping.

I got the full version of this so decided it be nice to have the portable but I actually find myself using this more often because we have a small bathroom and it takes up less space.... yeah I have to refill it more while using it but its actually easier then refilling the big one so no biggie.... it really gets my teeth super clean to the point where the dentist said what are you doing your teeth are in amazing condition, best patient, but at the same time are you trying to replace us by using that haha he has a sense of humored and of course didn't mean I should skip visits but it made me feel good....

I bought this specifically for work and travel, as my dental braces make it difficult to clean out my teeth, and flossing would take up too much time on my lunch break at work. The water pressure, even at the highest setting, is nowhere near as powerful as the nonportable plug-in one, which I have at home. A full tank of water can last you about 45 seconds. You may need to refill multiple times, especially when food can get really stuck in your braces like they do for me. However, the portability makes this device more than worth it. Just be sure to hold the device vertically at all times because the pump is at the bottom of the tank, facing downward. That is pretty much my only concern, but it is not too big of a concern.
