Q: What is the size and weight of this flosser?
A: The entire unit is 4.5"x6". It is very light weight. The water reservoir covers the top of the unit and comes off for easy filling and cleaning. The actual handheld portion is about the size of a fat finger, with the thin water jet off of the top. I originally bought the handheld version because we didn't want anything else big on the sink - but it was bulky to use and the water reservoir was too small to finish cleaning my mouth even once. This unit fulfills our needs.
A: Hi Sandy - We do recommend that you clean the unit regularly to keep it working at its best! Q: Is it a global version? Can it be used in 220v?
A: Hed Ted - Yes, the ION is a global voltage unit. If you have any further questions, please let us know! You can email us at [email protected] or call 1-800-525-2774.
A: It has a rechargeable battery. Two of us use the unit 2x/day and the battery lasts about a week. The unit is pretty small so that it is easily moved to where you have a plug.
A: Hi Tooth - We're sorry this is happening. It just sounds like the contacts need to be cleaned. Once the contacts are clean and dry, please charge the unit for 3-4 hours. If you're still having an issue, please contact us at 1-800-525-2774 or email [email protected] for assistance.
Q: Has the cord from handle to water tank been made less brittle? Traditional WPs snapped very easily.
A: Don’t know about past models but the tube delivering the water from the base unit to the waterpik tip is flexible but recoils neatly for storage on the unit. I don’t think it’s designed to be pulled forcefully out straight.
Q: How many PSI does it produce ?
A: Hello Joe - The ION produces 10 to 100PSI.
A: Hello AAA - We're sorry for the difficulty you've encountered. It sounds like the charging contacts may just need to be cleaned. Please ensure the unit is not plugged in and clean the charging contacts on the unit and the charger with a cloth or cotton swab and distilled white vinegar. Once they’ve dried, please charge it for another 3-4 hours. If that does not fix the issue, please email us at [email protected] or call us at (800) 525-2774 and we would be happy to help.
