This is a laptop drive, but I am using it on a home-built desktop computer. The price was good, and it works just fine. No complaints here. It does what it's supposed to do, and I got a good deal on it.

The drive on my mothers laptop died and needed a replacement. This has plenty of space for all her needs and is working great so far.
