I had several of the WB "mybook" and they worked great. Purchased this one because of a Holiday Sale @ $175.00 and it included a free 32GB usb flash drive.. BONUS.!. The Easystore has an LED on it where the MYbook does not. The Hard drive in this Easystore was a White Label WD drive with 256MB Cache.. NICE.!! I removed the daughter/USB board and it worked like a normal SATA drive in my Tower PC.

Great drive to add to a NAS device. Ripped the HDD out and its now in my NAS box. Make sure to test the drive for a few days before opening the encloser to avoid warranty issues if the HDD is DOA.

I Think it's good practice because I have more storage space at a reasonable price, so I can not worry about the disk space, and is a registered trademark of a good quality, indeed, excellent.
