This particular product extends and surpasses the expectation of storage, connectivity, and size. I use this product to store my pics and videos. I have very large database of pics and it keeps adding every week. It is very easy and fast to transfer pics from laptop to this hard drive. This portable hard drive is very sturdy and works perfectly fine even after a drop on the floor. It does come with the Cable. Great price and great customer service from WD. When you buy this particular product from the best buy make sure about the return policy (If you ever have to return or if you don't like this product, which might be unusual) for this product.

Hard drive does not have firmware upgrade to allow it to play with my Samsung LED 55in TV. So, this hard drive shows no videos after plugged into multiple USB ports on TV. It will only show videos on my laptop and other computers. I returned the item back to store.

I purchased this 1 TB external hard drive as a $40 Deal of the Day for my Playstation 4. The hard drive has functioned well without issue. I did not realize the PS4 did not have a USB port in the back and had to plug the USB cable into a front port, but the USB cable was just long enough to allow the slim designed drive to tuck right in behind my PS4. I have purchased more downloadable games than expected since I purchased the drive. In retrospect I wish I had purchased at least a 2 TB or larger, and would recommend you purchase at least the next size up hard drive for your PS4 than you think you might need, of course limited by what you can afford, but the price of external hard drives continues to go down. Gaming storage trends continues to move more toward downloads and less on physical hard copy discs of games. Good gaming everyone.
