Use this to get more storage space for my ps4. I have a 500gb ps4 and was running out of room. So I bought this and now I have plenty of room for more games. Easy to format too. Just plug it in the ps4 and go to settings under storage and select device and format. They made it so simple so you don't have to pay for an overpriced one that's already formatted for you. So get this if you need more storage on your ps4 or even pc. Also it's super slim then the previous version I got last year.

I use these portable external hard drives to hold my video library I've put in digitized format. I use these for everyday watching, plug into either my TV directly or through a UHD Blue Ray Disc Player. I also store my media on 8TB external hard drives (not pictured) that I never disconnect from my home computer, so I've got the media backed up as well. Western Digital puts out a great product and I have yet to have one fail on me (I'm looking at you, Seagate).

It’s very quiet and can fit in your shirt pocket. no need for the “book” version. I’m getting rid of all my book drives for the passport version. how come these are not available for thunderport
