Using the WD - My Passport for Mac 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive for backing up multiple MacBooks. Works great, fast and reliable and small enough to take with you. Great for storing tons of music, photos and videos as well.

I use this to backup via time machine two macs i own - each with a 500 GB internal drive. I partitioned this drive into 1 TB partitions and then run time machine for each Mac i own - very easy to partition nd no problems thus far
