It wasn't the easiest thing to put together. I have built a lot of things and am an engineer by trade, so I am used to assembling things. Instead of having all of a certain type of bolts packaged separately, they have all of the bolts, screws, whatever bunched together for the first couple of stages in a bag marked "A". Then the next couple of stages have all of the bolts, screws, whatever are bunched together in a bag mark "B" and so on for 5 bags. The assembly manual is only basic pictures, no writing. There is a 3D video that you can watch but it too is very basic and no audio. It wasn't that hard, you just have to go slowly, compare the manual with the video. If you have a mechanical background, you should be fine. But I highly recommend if you haven't assembled things before, this isn't the one to try first. It would be better to pay to have them assemble it for you. I was impressed though as I was installing this of its quality and how solid it feels. I haven't cooked on it yet, but I did run up the temperature to burn off the oils and then did a trial run to set different temperatures. Most of my cooking is Tri-Tip and I cook about 200 degrees to slowly cook it. I found that one burner on low will maintain that temperature. Using 1 burner it is going to be very efficient on the gas. Overall, I feel it was an excellent purchase. Just make sure you take your time; it took me probably about 2-1/2 to 3 hours start to finish

it cooks very well. Easy to operate. I haven't tried most of the things it has on it like the temp prove. I'll let you know after a while.
