Henry Rollins of Black Flag would lead his own charge with a solo band, Rollins' Band, to this 1994 album. Not as groundbreaking as Nirvana, Soundgarden or the grunge acts to follow, this album holds more sincerity to its sound than most albums in the last decade. Heavy on grinding bass and monotone blunt lyrics - this album blends hard rock, punk, and jazz undertones well. 'Shine' alone is worth a single listen.
