Good TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price, this is an excellent TV. It just doesn't come with many bells and whistles. Pro: Excellent value for the price Nice Picture (but not great) - Blacks could be a bit darker and some colors seem a little washed out bright light. Built In speakers are decent with minor distortion The TV is used mainly for the kids to play Wii, XBOX 360, and an AppleTV to access Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu. Cons: Occasionally reverts to the Set Up screen. This always seems to occur when using the AppleTV remote so there may be a crossing of IR signals. Power cable is a bit short if mounted on the wall. Could use another HDMI port. Even using an external Antenna, it doesn't seem to get too many over the air HD channels. (note, we are 25 miles from Philadelphia in the burbs) Overall, a good tv for the price. Just don't expect too much from it.

Westinghouse TV and Roku Stick
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The television is great. The first one we received had a small pixelated spot on it, so we had to exchange. We were promised that if we returned within two weeks of install that Geek Squad would come out, remove the TV, and install a new one at no charge. We had to make several calls and jump through some hoops to get that done, which was a huge pain. Then we found out Geek Squad will not take the TV down, we had to do that, but they did take it away and put up the new one. Not exactly a smooth transition. The TV works great. The Roku also works well, but the remote has gone through 4 sets of batteries in as many weeks, clearly something is wrong with it. We haven't had the energy to go through the exchange process with Best Buy yet, after the TV.

Great Picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this set for $300 on sale. After adjusting a floor-sample set in-store I was convinced it could look as good as sets selling for 3 times as much. At home setup was simple and confirmed the picture was excellent. While this is not a "Smart" set, to me that is irrelevant as my Blue-Ray player has all the necessary smarts, including WiFi access to the internet; further it's cheaper to upgrade the Blue-Ray player then buy a whole new TV. If there is anything weak about the set it's the sound, however connecting a Klipsch PC external powered speaker system, with sub-woofer solved that issue. The set has several preset audio equalization settings, including a user defined setting.
