Customers are delighted by the 24" Built-In Dishwasher's quiet operation during cycles. However, some users express dissatisfaction with the drying performance and overall cleaning effectiveness, noting that dishes sometimes emerge wet or require additional cleaning. A few customers also mentioned needing more maintenance than expected. The cleaning performance is a point of contention for some buyers.
It’s not working and it’s only been two years. I’ve cleaned out filter and checked everything.

This was my very first dishwasher and I wanted a Bosch but after 3 months it wasn’t going to be coming in soon. Whirlpool was my second choice. I’m giving it 4 stars because I did all of the installation. Best Buy was part of the issue from their customer service and lack of installing and sharing the correct information upon purchasing in the store. 1; The dishwasher: it really is beyond easy to do yourself and save on $159 dollar installation. I had to hardwire mine, my house was built a year ago and the electrician didn’t put in an outlet but just a wire to connect to my house: no problem. I think it’s quiet and I have an open floor plan. It’s no louder than my dryer and with 2 kids I tune out a lot regardless. It fits in beautifully and perfect match to my other appliances. I’m a single, busy, on the go mom. So I think this is good for a first time dishwasher, single family or individual that won’t have a lot of dishes all the time and a quick go to. I deal with severe eczema on my hands so the constant hand washing it so irritating I opted for a dishwasher to give my skin a break. 2: Best Buy- when I bought it in store the guy told me their guy would take out the cabinet. I asked multiple times on different visits and got the same answer. Geek squad shows up and nope they DONT take out cabinets. The guy said it happened before but he honestly looked relieved and didn’t offer any advice, who I could call in the area since he said this has happened before. I had to tell him to leave the dishwasher. He came at 9am and I was originally scheduled at 12-4. I asked if I get the cabinet out can I call him to come at my original time. He said yeah but don’t call after 12 bc I’m off at 2. Regardless he was schedule to 4 originally so I didn’t like his tone.

I purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher expecting quality and durability, but it's been a constant headache. The interior is shockingly fragile, particularly the clips holding the racks. They've broken repeatedly, forcing me to replace them multiple times. It's not just about the inconvenience but also the additional cost and time wasted. For a brand that prides itself on reliability, this is unacceptable. The dishwasher's primary function is overshadowed by its poor interior design and lack of durability. I regret my purchase and strongly advise against it. Save yourself the frustration and look for a more reliable brand. I certainly won't buy Whirlpool again.
