Does everything it needs to well!

I didn't really have any interest in paying for lots of extra bells and whistles that I imagined I would never use anyway. I specifically chose this model because it did not have the basket in the door - something my last one had that limited the number of utensils I could add as well as made loading more of a hassle as I was constantly sliding the bottom rack in and out just to add a few more items to the basket. I already love this dishwasher. It is extremely quiet, gets our dishes VERY clean (FYI - I am not a pre-rinser although I do remove remaining food portions), and is very easy to load. The rack prong spacing is wide enough for our bulkier stoneware plates and the height between the racks is generous. I have not used the delayed start yet, but I am sure I will in the future. The controls are clear and easy to use and I appreciate that they can be locked so that we can prevent young visitors to our home from causing problems.

Beautiful looking dishwasher

We haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but it looks great and I love the white outside with the stainless steel interior. So far I love it. After we use it for a while I'll write again concerning how well it works. The delivery and installation went very very well. Unless you are really handy, I suggest that you buy the installation service--there's a lot to it.

- A:Answer Hi Holly, thank you for your inquiry. All of our dishwashers have a certain amount of bitumen in the mastic material that is baked on our stainless steel tubs for sound dampening. We hope this helps!

- A:Answer I would say it is VERY quiet. The most significant noise has come from what I had in it and how I loaded it more than from the cycles and sounds of the dishwasher, which itself is really quiet. I recently had a metal pot on the bottom rack and I heard the water intermittently hitting inside the metal pot during the wash cycle.

- A:Answer Hi Today, thank you for your inquiry. With this model you would need to use a rinse aid to get the best drying performance. The dishes may be slightly damp immediately following the cycle, due to steam, but will not be wet hand that hand drying would be necessary.
