4Works just fine
PostedNightowlinCAThis replaced a 25 yo dishwasher and so far we have been pleased. It is reasonably quiet for the price (we watch TV about 30 feet away and no longer have to raise the volume to hear the TV as we did with the old one). Cleaning has been excellent, and it is the most flexible dishwasher for loading I've ever seen. The silverware basket can go on the door (not recommended), in the bottom rack (OK, but takes up space) or can hang on the outside of the bottom rack (preferred). The bottom rack does have to be pulled out until the wheels rest on the well in the door, otherwise it will keep sliding back in while you load it. Once I figured that out, it was very easy to load with a variety of dishes on both top and bottom. No special fancy places for things, but we use everyday glassware and dishes, and plates and bowls can go just about anywhere. It isn't as quiet as I would have liked, but the delay start means I rarely hear it anyway, as it runs overnight and I have clean dishes in the morning. The dishes dry fine without the heated dry, so that saves energy.

2Must have got a lemon
PostedTruthThis review is from Whirlpool - 24" Built-In Super Capacity Dishwasher - Black-on-Black
I bought this washer 3 years ago and at first, everything was fine. Over time the wash cycle grew louder and louder and the motor finally went out. Also the flatware basket is a poor design being attached to the door. You'll find you need to put this basket in the bottom roller basket and then you won't have space for 2 rows of dishes. Overall, I here Whirlpool is one of the best in this price range, so I must have gotten a lemon. The $600 (and below) Kenmores are nothing more than rebranded Whirlpools and some received high marks from Consumer Reports. The Kenmore roller baskets are better designs, but that alone does not warrent the price difference. If you can find the Kenmore at this price, buy it. Otherwise, you might consider buying the extended warranty.

4Great dishwasher for the price
PostednystateThis review is from Whirlpool - 24" Built-In Super Capacity Dishwasher - Black-on-Black
Overall I'm very pleased with this dishwasher. I've had it for about a year now, and compared to my Frigidaire, this one is amazing. I have never had a single dish that came out dirty, and the cycles on the machine are very useful (i.e. sanitize, pots and pans, light wash, etc.) I also love the silverware rack on the door. The silverware does get clean every single time and I love the space it frees up in the rest of the bottom rack. The dishwasher is reasonably quiet... for $400 I suppose it might be one of the quieter ones, but not as quiet as I would like it to be. The only problem I've had is that two of the bottom rack tines chipped off. Whirlpool did cover that under warranty though.

5BEST DISHWASHER EVER
PostedJNTEThis review is from Whirlpool - 24" Built-In Super Capacity Dishwasher - Black-on-Black
We have had many different dishwashers in the past years and none have performed anywhere near this one. The only down side to it compared to others is the time factor. It takes up to 2 hours to clean, but when it is done everything is clean and it uses so much less water and energy than all of our other washers. Also looking at the cycle times for any other newer model is the same amount of time if not a little bit more. I love not having to pre-rinse and scrub dishes before putting them into the washer. We've had this washer for three years now with absolutely no problems at all. A GREAT investment if you want to have clean dishes every time. I recommend this to anyone looking for a great dishwasher.

1Pass on this product
PostedSkooterPlease with product at first but slowly declined. Product used @ 4 times a week. With in first six months start button fell off. With in 1 year racks started to lose covering and subsequently rusted and broke in several places. By 2 1/2 years, motor/pump became increasingly loud. Since manufacture never responded to any attempted contacts, repairman summoned and estimated cost to repair exceeded original purchase price. Most disappointing part of the experience was not the failed performance of the product, but the total disregard from manufacture to to not even extend the courtesy of a reply to customer inquiries. To future purchasers highly recommend purchase of extended warranty with this one.

4Good product
PostedbtaylorThis review is from Whirlpool - 24" Built-In Super Capacity Dishwasher - Black-on-Black
My husband and I recently purchased a Quiet Partner II except it was white and I could not find a white one to review, but this is close enough. We love the dishwasher. I hold so much and is super quiet. It just seems to run a long time. The only other thing is that the silverware holder is attached to the front of the lower basket or to the inside of the door and this is is good because it allows more room on the lower drawer. The only thing is you cannot put tall silverware pieces near the end by the dispenser, because it will block the little door from opening and dispensing the detergent. It just takes getting used to, but otherwise, it is a great product.

1NEEDS EXTENDED WARRANTY
PostedbeeslersmomIf you must purchase this dishwasher, be sure to get the extended warranty. I have spent over $300 in repairs on this dishwasher in less than 3 years, and it is dead again. I just had the control board replaced 2 months ago! The unit not only failed three times in less than 3 years (heater unit, control board, and I don't know what now), but the front "Start" button fell off twice, once in the first year, and again the next year on the replacement front panel. (I ended up just supergluing it on.) Whirlpool's only response to all my issues was that I should have purchased the extended warranty.

5Very Good Dishwasher
PostedTrudyThis review is from Whirlpool - 24" Built-In Super Capacity Dishwasher - Black-on-Black
I replaced an old dishwasher with this one. Although I haven't had it very long yet, it washes and dryes much better than my old GE one. I also like how the utensil rack is out of the way and on the outside of the rack (or on the door - which ever you prefer). Also, the fold down bottom tines makes it so much easier to fit oddly shaped items. It also has a green light on the door when the dishes are clean and stays on until you open and reclose the door. So far, I haven't found anything negative about this product.
